Good service. Everything hired via phone And strict covid restrictions in place when picking up. Pleased to see one company adhering to the rules. However the ladder I hired was not sufficient for the job.

Steer clear of this company if you can! We hired a carpet cleaner on a Saturday morning and found out when we got it home and tried to use it that it didn't work. Any check by HSS would have shown this, so obviously this had not been done. By the time we had discovered that it didn't work, at 2pm on a Saturday, the whole of HSS seemed to have closed down for the weekend. The 'emergency number' simply played recorded messages telling you what a great customer service HSS offered. The staff at the Southampton branch were friendly enough but this doesn't compensate for useless equipment and a wasted weekend. . .

Hss southampton your lucky if they answer the phone at all! The drivers are lazy and don't even try to pick up your order saying they tried to call you several times but no missed calls and no notification either. Get a text from Charlie as your pick up you'll be lucky if this guy bothers turning up at all! And when called back refused to attend to collect due to tossing it off.
