This is my favourite McDonald's branch in all of Peterborough. Friendly staff, pleasant atmosphere, very spacious, a variety of seating arrangements, and more modern interiors compared to other Mcdonald's in the city. Food is often hot and as expected. It's never too busy and even if it is, it always looks clean. I come here all the time and in the mornings it's especially pleasant and peaceful as its clientele are mainly adult or elderly couples here with no children.

Terrible service, and the manager Becky had nothing but a bad attitude and excuses. Ordered 2 drinks on a hot day and was left standing for over half an hour whilst watching others be served with full meals and drinks. When I requested to speak to this so called manager she seemed oblivious to what was going on and did not care. When I finally received my order, it was clear that it had been started then left as the milkshake was like water, coffee cold. Disgusting service and horrendous customer service. Worst place I have been and would not recommend to anyone. Hope it gets closed down

Very beautiful place to meet your hunger quickly. Ample car parking. The staffs are friendly and the price is reasonable. They served hot food with good taste. The milk shake is quite good

Beware of carparking limit. We used this establishment as a meeting point and ordered hot drinks to enjoy until family arrived from the other direction. We were celebrating a birthday so ordered a large amount for 12 people when we were all together. Many items were missing from our order and it took a while for staff to sort it. The apologised nicely so we ordered desserts. These too took ages to come. In all we were in the restaurant for 2.5 hours because of the mess ups.2 weeks later we all got parking tickets! My sister tried to appeal with the above story. They turned it down. I forgot about mine and now have a HUGE fine through no fault of our own. I rang the restaurant and asked for their help (explaining the story) and they basically said tough luck, it's not our carpark!

I ordered thru the mcdonald's app with store order #JJ623186455 missing big and cheesy bacon. Called boon gate branch and was told by the manager on duty (1:20 am Dec 11/12 2023) that they cannot deliver the item and just go to the branch to get it myself. It definitely was their fault by not checking the items before dispatching it. This does not make any sense . Poor customer experience .
