Excellent product with the whole process from purchase to fitting carried out with the minimum hassle. The fitting was carried out in a very efficient manner by two very professional guys. Very happy with the fire and recommend Stonehouse unreservedly.

Excellent customer service through the entire process. We are really happy with our fireplace and feel it was great value. Sales team were friendly and responsive ALL THE WAY THROUGH TO POST INSTALL! The survey guy was super knowledgable and thought of everything and the install team were extra conscientious-- suggesting a change of a detail on the day to ensure a perfect install given our changed requirements of our floor (we decided on restoration of floor instead of new floor the night before(!), which changed the hearth details). HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

The whole experience of installing a new gas fire and surround has been excellent, from the initial consultation at our house through to the installation. The installation team undertook the work in one day and provided a professional service, providing a high standard of workmanship and leaving the house clean and tidy.Now we need to refurb the rest of the room to the same standard

The three stars are firstly for the lovely fireplace and the help given in choosing it. Also for the most competent and professional work of the fitters.The loss of two stars is firstly for the brief, casual survey in which no regard was paid to the possible problems a decommissioned back boiler might pose.Indeed it was later implied that I was at fault. The other lost star is for the reaction of the company when it became apparent the fitting would have to be halted so that an inspection by a plumber would be required. This was left to me to sort and to pay for the 4 hours of work involved. I have received no apology for the delays, no acceptance of any responsibility for the problems, and no money for the plumber's labours. The company's reasoning for this seems to make rational sense to them but not to me as a customer.Companies are best judged not when all goes smoothly but for their reaction when problems arise.

Stonehouse Fireplaces Harrogate have fitted us a beautiful gas stove which looks like a log burner. The whole experience from the first showroom visit, the in-depth and thorough survey, the very kind chimney sweep who had to dismantle a rather large birds nest and the stove fitters who worked professionally and considerately. Oliver was absolutely brilliant. I can not thank him enough for undertaking a 1st Class instalment of the fire and fire surround. Nothing was to much for him and I have to say his attention to detail was outstanding. All in all, I would without any hesitation recommend Stonehouse Fireplaces Harrogate to anyone wishing to install a new fireplace. It is the best thing we have ever done. 5 Star Rating...

Expensive? Yes. Worth it? Absolutely! We could not be more pleased with the fire, design, device and workmanship from start to finish. I am very particular. I don't accept poor work. I cannot fault the finish of this beautiful fire and surround. These jobs are big projects. I was prepared for a lot of mess but they kept it to a minimum and fully cleaned up at the end of each day. If something didn't quite go to plan as is to be expected in old houses, it was sorted immediately. I would have no hesitation what so ever to recommend this company. They worked with us and our ideas to transform a boring tired room into a stunning space. The team at Stonehouse Fireplaces were fantastic from the initial contact to the installation. Old fire and surround removed without a problem and new fire surround and fire fitted a couple of weeks later. All arranged to fit in with my new flooring being installed next week.The installation team of Tim and Adam were professional and excellent at their job. Cleaned up after themselves and spent time with me to go over the instructions for use of new fire. I would recommend Stonehouse Fireplaces.
