After my car reached 3 years old I had to start taking it to get its MOT. I had a look around my area and A1 pit stop stood out. It’s super close to me and had great reviews.I have now taken my car here for the past few years and I am so impressed with the service. On the most recent occasion I accidentally turned up an hour earlier than my appointment but they were more than happy to get working on my car as soon as they could. I then got a call 50 minutes later letting me know all has gone well and it is ready for pick-up. The price is very reasonable for the work they do, they let me know my tyres might need replacing soon and presented me with options and costs, also the name of the tyres I had on already (I wouldn’t have had a clue!).Denise on the front desk is kind, polite and always willing to help anyway she can. The gentlemen that does the work on the car is friendly and very good at his job.I will continue to go here for my MOT and my parents and friends have also started to go here based on my experiences.

I have been taking my car to this garage for two years now on a friend’s recommendation. The service is First Class. Denise on reception is polite, professional, knowledgeable on the car industry, and friendly. My car runs extremely smoothly after the checks/ adjustments that they undertake. I’m really happy with how they run their business. I wouldn’t take my car anywhere else.Be Proud of what you do!

Did my MOT there. Would not recommend. Avoid at all cost. Made me change a ball joint absolutely unnecessary. Poor customer service.

Carried out MOT and a necessary repair to my Vauxhall Corsa. Friendly and very fair price

Mot and repair work carried out on Volkswagen Passat . Car returned with Turbo control pipe left disconnected and wheel retaining bolts installed hand tight with hub cap installed over them .Have been going to a1 pitstop for the last 5 years but not had major repair work undertaken before .Apology given by management.

Really like this garage, they've looked after our family cars for years. I feel they are honest and do a good job. The invoice comes with a full break down of the cost of parts and labour. I trust this company and would recommend.

Great garage. I was in need of an urgent MOT as mine had expired and they managed to do it on the day. They were very friendly and helpful I would recommend them and intend to use them for any other motoring needs
