Very disappointed in how this was dealt with. The solicitor was very polite and very nice although the case was not dealt with well and was not consulted with me before the trials. They had more of a concern to ensure that they were receiving their funds more than anything else. If you have time and energy do it yourself.

I contacted a few solicitors during the summer to guide me through the financial settlement, there are multiple properties and businesses to be split, defiantly not straightforward and a lot of unravelling is needed.I had spoken with someone from Stowe who recommended Devon McNamara. A few days later I received a call from Devon herself to ask how she could help.Within a few days meetings were set up and a long handover was given to Devon to get an overview of the financials.Mediation was attended, lots of demands and somewhat forceful letters had been sent to me from my wife's solicitor since the separation.Nothing was really going anywhere and to be honest I had no idea what was going on with financial affairs as my wife was the office side of the businesses and I had no access to anything, also co operation was non existent from anyone who was involved with the joint affairs.Devon was patiently waiting in the background, advising for mediation and guiding me through the next stages.A couple of letters were exchanged from Devon to the other solicitor and we reconvened as I felt there was dishonesty and limited disclosure provided from my wife's legal team.I was advised to proceed with court action and get things moving and also to uncover the full disclosure of the businesses and financials.A couple of phone calls to Devon to clarify some points on the long handover and within a few hours Devon's draft came in for me to approve.Close to 9pm when her email arrives, as I read the email it was full of fact, every minute detail and full taking charge of the situation was finally in hand. It was probably the most explosive emotion I have felt in years knowing that I had made the right decision instructing Devon and Stowe to act on my behalf.This young lady takes no prisoners and will certainly fight your corner to get to the bottom of everything, an absolute asset and fully dedicated to her role.This case is currently ongoing and will be updated in due course.
