MACHO Turkish Barbers

Cannot recommended this place unfortunately. When I specifically asked for a scissor cut, the guy proceeded to reach for the clippers and did a three all round, making the sides way too short. Not what I asked for. Clearly couldn’t be bothered to do it with a pair of scissors. I guess that’s too much effort. Then he put a bit of hairspray on top which looked ridiculous. I politely said the cut wasn’t what I asked for, at which point I was hoping for a bit off the bill as some compensation I guess. I was still charged the full amount, which I payed reluctantly since I didn’t wish to cause a scene. Won’t be coming here again, which is a shame as I always like to support local businesses.

Went to this barber shop about a year ago for an event I was attending, and for a 20 year old I am very picky with my haircuts so this was a big risk me going here not knowing anything about it.I ended up going with a barber called shwan and getting a skin fade..To this day it has been the best haircut iv ever had! I have been with “professional” barbers that charge £50 and come to your home but this barber took the leader board with a £15 haircut!I have only been to this barber ones before as it’s so far away from me but if I’m ever near by I definitely know where I’m going!

I had my haircut last Thursday after work. I always have it cut every 3 weeks. Ive never complained as ive always come out feeling a million dollars afterwards! However this time i left feeling disapointed. The barber spent about 10 mins on my hair where usually its about 20 mins! It wasnt blended in properly, it was uneven, there was neck hair left unshaved. Did i complain at the time. No because im not a person who does though i wished i had. My wife who isnt a trained barber had to tidy it up! The usual barbers there are exellent, i think the youngish guy who did mine may need a little more training! I left a comment on facebook however that was removed as was the reply for some reason! Would i go back? Yes as i feel its just a mishap at that time, but i would want the usual barber who does my hair as he is a genius at his proffesion. I wrote this review not to warn coustomers away, but to just let the management know that i like the place and wish to carry on having my hair done the way its always been done by a proffesional barber who takes pride in thier work.

Had my hair cut, beard trimmed... nose and ear wax, plus hot towel treatment.Very pleased. Value for money at £33. Barber was very nice and friendly... paid attention to what I wanted. Wasn't rushed at all. Premises were stylish, trendy, welcoming and spotlessly clean.

I’ve been coming here for a few years now however the quality and attention to detail has decreased significantly while the price has increased.The past dozen times i’ve been here i’ve left disappointed and £16 short each time. some of the barbers are difficult to communicate with and don’t listen to what you specifically ask for ie cutting far too short, not knowing the difference between a high or medium fade nor how to texture hair and often take short cuts like using clippers instead of scissors on top when i specifically asked for a scissor cut and they’ll often leave you with each side of your head looking completely different and unsymmetrical to the other.Unless you’re looking for an overpriced buzz cut i would avoid coming here.

First time I got the haircut I asked for. Cost was £8.00. Last time (recently) I was persuaded to get a much shorter cut. Cost £11.00. Now i have to put up with jokes about it. Advice: Listen to your customers.I appreciate that you took the trouble to reply, but I was assured the cut would not be too short so I would still request that you listen to customers. And raising price from £11.00 to £8.00 is far beyond inflation. I would like to say though that your barbers are skilled and friendly.

Took my 8 yr old. grandson here a while back as we'd been let down by hairdresser. He loved it, pampered and even put cologne on him. Highly recommend

My son loves coming here says he can't wait to go back for the next hair cut only had it done here twice and he always pleased with it. (AT last) a barber who knows how to cut hair.
