The New Hampton
What used to be a real ale lovers pub is not much more than a sports bar now, loads of TV screens and more lager and cocktails than you could shake a stick at. On the plus side, they've got a load of space outside since putting tables on their once lovely bowling green. It's clean inside however, and the staff are friendly and attentive and they are dog friendly to boot. If you're after a busy pub that suits a younger audience than me it's the place to be.

Regrettably now no reliable supply of real ales at this place, contrary to what I wrote 17 months ago. Cask ales often not available at all or when they are the quality is not what it has traditionally been in this pub. So for me it has gone downhill in the last few months. totally different from what I wrote in 2022.

It's the first time I've ever been in there.its a really friendly pub.The beer is a reasonable price and 2 people won over £75 on the Bandits.The barmaids are friendly and I noticed that everyone knows them by name and the Blonde one has a brilliant Tattoo on her stomach and the other barmaid has got Great hair they're both pretty. I recommend this pub for a friendly night out

One of the best pubs around here that has a great atmosphere but it ludicrously cheap. Don't do food but they don't mind you bringing your own

There is a wide selection of beer, wine, cider, lager and soft drinks on offer.There are three separate rooms including a pool table.There is a large covered area outside.The outside seating area is well maintained and comfortable.The inside of the pub has been decorated to a high standard. It has carpet now!The toilets are clean and well maintained.The customer service is friendly and efficient.This Victorian pub is well with a visit.
