I took my overlocker to repair as on the phone man said he can repair it. Then he charged £10 for so-called diagnostics which took him several days pointing that 2 parts were broken and this will cost me £150 to change. As the result he said there was no point to repairs my one and he offered me to buy from him a second hand overlocker, which was not as good as my overlocker. Good there are still other professionals in this sector, so I found a man who did the diagnostics for 1 minute and pointed that I only need 1 part to change. Now my overlocker is in great working condition for only £60.

An honest tradesman who wasn't prepared to carry out a repair that, in his opinion, would not remain effective.
