Relationships are complex and need nurturing, when life gets tough sadly our relationships take the toll. Alison is warm, wise and eminently likeable, she has helped us to understand ourselves and each other, and have the tools to be able to successfully navigate difficulties in our relationship. We have learnt so much and feel elated to have learnt after many years together how to overcome differences, and enjoy each other again. Wow what a life lesson, you don’t know what you don’t know ! Myself and Becky first met Alison in February this year (2022). Our marriage was not in a good place, so we reached out to Alison for help in an attempt to salvage our marriage. The months following our first session with Alison were tough. On more than one occasion throughout the process myself and Becky were tempted to give up. I have had the pleasure of receiving help from Alison. I find her to be extremely knowledgeable and broad minded. She has many useful tools for what seems to assist with keeping emotions and thoughts grounded and level whilst also working to discover the root of issues. I’m more than happy when I say Alison that the tools you have given us have been priceless (when we use them). Along with the gentle and respectful approaches, techniques and models used, and your guidance, we have definitely found our way back to one another. Alison is an excellent counsellor. She helped me and my husband navigate through a tricky patch in our relationship. I highly recommend her to anyone else needing help with relationships.

Me and my partner did a six week stint of relationship counselling with Alison. As a man I was doubtful that anything would work but was willing to give it a try. Despite my scepticism, Alison was reassuring and compassionate with large amounts of knowledge and experience.
