My Dentist

Carry On Dentist more like!They broke my tooth when putting in a filling then wanted to charge me to repair it. Previously attempted to extract a tooth but it broke leaving the root exposed then they advised me to go to XHouse. Very rude and patronising young receptionist.

Had my composite bonding done over the past 2 weeks with Dr.Sukhada Bal at the Ayr dental studio . What a great experience she talked me through every stage of the way and made me feel at ease, I couldn’t be any happier with the treatment and service that was provided!Thanks again

AWFUL, SHOCKING , DISGRACEFUL these are words that come to mind when I think of this place. MY husband has been in agony since 25th May and after phoning numerous times and also going in he was grudgingly prescribed antibiotics without EVER seeing a dentist!!!! On Fri 28th when he came in from work in severe pain he had to call 111 and was given an appointment at Irvine Central for Sat morning and had to have the tooth extracted as there were 2 abcesses !!!! We had to cancel dinner on Fru night and also a night away due to his pain. Please do not go near this place as they couldn't spell DENTIST.

Brilliant staff and nice looking spacious surgeries

Attended here after suffering toothache. Had been a patient for around a year with no major issues and felt confident in my dentist mr singh who was always patient with me as I am very nervous. I had a tooth extracted by another dentist (top tooth) after being told it had decay and had to be removed. Within 24 hours it was very badly infected and I had to go to emergency dentist at crosshouse. It was agony. The toothache I had never went away and i returned sure that it was a bottom tooth and not the top one that had been removed. I had a root canal which was quite painful and within 10 mins of leaving my face began to swell and the pain got worse. I was given antibiotics, i ended up with 8 courses in the end up, with no relief. I queried an abcess but was told on numerius occassions it was inflammation and would take time to heal. I was also left with part of a metal file lodged deep in my tooth socket. After 7 months i was referred to maxillofacial specialist at xhouse. He xrayed and told me I had 2 large abcesses. This required surgery. The pain was unbearable most days and i have never felt pain like it. This lasted a further 2 months before i was well enough for anaesthetic as the infection spread and i had it in my ears, throat and chest. At its worst I was unable to get out of bed and loat a lot of time at work. After the 1st surgery it took about 4 months to heal when they discovered a further abcess (where the file was) so yet MORE surgey at hospital. I lost a whole year of my life, i have never been in so much pain or been so depressed. I also went from being a nervous patient to a terrified one. I had xrays days before seeing the specialist and was told no abcess - but yet the specialist showed me them on his xray and it was blatantly obvious even to me. My overall health suffered greatly over that year. I have also been left with trauma to my bone caused by the abcess and infection bein untreated for so long, even though i attended dentist more than 10 times about it i was always told just inflammation. Theses abcesses could have ruptured and had potentially fatal consequences for me. Due to the trauma I will always have pain, although it is bearable most days. In cold weather my face swells and i get a lot of pressure which is painful. Would never return here.

Always have had a pleasant experience when going to this dentist . Staff are friendly and put me at ease
