Have been going here since it opened and always enjoyed my visits but have stopped going in now as recent staff changes mean that only a couple of people can actually make coffee, the croissants are either overcooked or raw in the middle and a ‘latte’ last week had one bubble on top which sadly burst leaving a cup of brown water which definitely didn’t taste like coffee. It’s a shame that the staff have not been given proper training as baristas and they’ve put the prices up this week and I’m not paying good money for bad coffee.

TERRIBLE SERVICE! In line with most of the recent reviews I've read, the service is shocking and the coffee isn't much better. I walked into the store and stood in front of the till, knowing I wanted a takeaway flat white. Two girls (one leaning on the till, one leaning against the bar) were stood chatting to each other with their back to me. I stood for about a minute, before a third girl walked around the bar and asked what I wanted. Whilst she made my coffee, the girl leaning on the till tapped my order on the till and held the card reader out to me, without breaking conversation with her friend, or even turning to look in my general direction. I reluctantly tapped my card and paid £3.15 for a very underwhelming coffee (more of a cappuccino with burnt over-foamed milk). Whilst it was being made, the other girl took a pause from her conversation, to put some clean mugs on the shelf, but picked them up by putting her fingers in the mug rather than using the handle. I used to get takeaway coffees from here a lot, but I won't be going back. The prices on the website also don't match what they are in store. My review is in line with the most recent reviews of this coffee shop, I would avoid until the staff receive some general service training.

Lovely customer service from a young lady called Katie that was service with a smile. Got served by another young lady called Sophie who was so very abrupt and ignorant. The coffee wasn’t to the usual standard and service was rushed. This was one of my favourite places at one point but no longer feel like coming which is a shame as it used to be amazing

Coffee is OK but not quite at Costa Coffee standard. Flat white tastes fine, but the cups are tiny. The little cakes and sweet nibbles are also tiny. But the prices aren't. You don't get anything other than a quick sweet snack here. Staff are OK ish. Young but inexperienced and flippant. They are just going through the motions to serve you. There are plenty of alternatives locally with better fayre. Might come back here in a couple of years to measure change.

Very nice coffee in Wakefield, especially near a shopping centre.Interior is the same layout really as the last cafe Nero that was there, but the decor is much better now.Staff are very friendly, very prompt to take your order and get it to you.Food is similar, but nothing to be moaned at.Lost one star for serving my croissant on a chipped plate, as all food and drink establishments should know chipped porcelain is a bacteria breeding ground and therefore disposed of.

Staff used to be lovely, but seems to have gotten progressively worse over the last year, they all give off an air of can't be bothered and don't even bother saying thanks when you've thanked them.Been thinking of not coming in here anymore, today's was the last visit. Basic manners cost nothing, if someone's spending £3+ on a coffee, then thanks you for it, least you can say is thanks back.
