Both Sophie and Emily love dancing at the school and we've seen such an improvement in both of them since they re-joined. Fab teacher, fab experiences, fab school!Juliette LangworthBoth my daughters (Sophie & Emily) joined Caroline’s Dance school when they were just 2&3 years old. They loved putting on their ballet gear and learning to Dance with Caroline and Melody Bear – the stickers were their pride and joy! Caroline was so kind and patient with them I think it inspired their love of dance.Due to other commitments they left the school but did carry on dancing elsewhere. A few years ago, they returned and within weeks I could see a big improvement in their technique. Caroline’s attention to detail is immaculate and both girls have gained amazing marks in all of their exams as a result of this. They always feel super prepared and ready to take each of their exams – and a little nervous of course!They have both performed in local Fetes as part of the dance school, dance sessions with professional dancers and, after encouragement and extra coaching by Caroline, they both auditioned for places at The English Youth Ballets performance of Swan Lake. Both Sophie and Emily were successful! They ended up performing with professional Ballet dancers at the New Theatre in Cardiff in August 2019. They absolutely loved the experience and would love to do it again!Sophie started helping Caroline as a Dance assistant last year and this term Emily has also become a dance assistant. Both are absolutely loving helping the younger dancers and are really grateful for the experience they are gaining. Seeing what it’s like to teach young dancers and seeing them improve is just lovely for them.During Lockdown, we were all so grateful to Caroline for carrying on teaching her lessons through Zoom. Definitely different from a normal class, but brought such much-needed normality to the strange situation we were all in.So, thank you Caroline – you’re amazing!!Sophie LangworthCaroline always makes the lessons fun and enjoyable. It was so much fun and a great experience meeting lots of new people and seeing how hard professional dancers work!I’m really grateful that I’ve also had the opportunity to become a dance assistant with Caroline last year. She’s strict, but is always calm, really nice and very supportive. The lessons are so well structured and under control. Caroline always makes sure that we all understand what we’re supposed to do and always helps us get it right. When I take my dance exams, I always feel really prepared and have had distinctions in all of them so far.Since I returned to Caroline’s dance school, I’ve performed at local fetes, taken part in dance sessions led by professional dancers from the West End and last year I auditioned for and got a part in Swan Lake with the English Youth Ballet. I loved that experience and hope to be able to gain a place in a different ballet in the future!I’ve just started helping as a dance assistant and am really loving it. I’m really grateful to have such a great experience and I love helping the younger dancers.

Miss Caroline is a wonderful ballet, tap and modern dance teacher, she has gone above and beyond especially during lockdown to make sure all of her classes don’t miss out by providing Zoom lessons, activities and organising extra masterclasses to keep them involved. Both my children love to dance and she keeps them engaged, it’s been wonderful watching them perform in shows and events and seeing my youngest progress through Melody Bear classes and my eldest take her examinations with pride.Miss Caroline makes sure everyone is included in her diverse classes and helps bring out the performer in each child by building their confidence which is a beautiful thing to watch as they grow.

I chose CGSD for my children 5 years ago as I was impressed by her friendly, nurturing approach and her focus on growing a love for dance rather than exams and am so happy that I did! Both my children and myself dance with Caroline and love it! The classes are good fun and Caroline is such a supportive teacher. Highlights of our time with the school so far have been performing at the Riverside Theatre in Newport and achieving distinctions in exams that have been taken. I was concerned with exams at the beginning but Caroline could not prepare and help exam classes more - she makes the preparation enjoyable. During lockdown she ensured we could keep dancing by taking classes online and doing everything she could to keep at least something 'normal' this year. I cannot recommend this school highly enough! Everyone should dance with CGSD!

I chose Caroline Graham School of Dance when my daughter wanted to start purely because no where else taught children so young. I’m so glad we made the choice though. My daughter has been taught by Caroline for several years and I started adult classes soon after. My classes are a highlight of my week and my daughter loves that we share the same hobby. Caroline is a great teacher, always so patient and kind while wanting us all to reach our potential.As a parent, l have nothing but praise for Caroline. She is great with children of all ages, really encourages them and goes above and beyond to help them to love dancing. As a student in the adult classes it is just the same. Caroline understands that we might want different things from the class and makes it really enjoyable at the same time as working us hard! Thank you so much Caroline!

My daughter Belle has been attending Caroline Graham school of dancing for 3 years and from the very first lesson she has shown her dedication and commitment to Belle’s journey as a dancer. Progress has been significant as she only started ballet aged 12 yet on Caroline’s suggestion she auditioned for the English Youth Ballet after just over a years lessons and was successful, and extra lessons were put in place before the summer of rehearsals to ensure she was ready.During lockdown, being able to continue with dancing in very trying circumstances for children and adults, was appreciated so much. The way the lessons were adapted for the new situation showing again how much Caroline cares for her dancers and also her professionalism.

I started adult beginners tap last year with Becky and have enjoyed every class so so far! Communication from day 1 when I first enquired about the class has been brilliant. Becky is a fantastic teacher and takes time to break down all the steps and spend time with each of us individually to show is how to improve. I would highly recommend this dance school to everyone!

I have recently started Ballet and tap, Ballet with Caroline and tap with Becky they are both friendly , very professional, and very encouraging what you need when starting a new class. The whole experience is absolutely fantastic. !! I would give them 10 stars .
