Every time my mum goes a specific doctor constantly telling her ‘we’ve all had the same problems just need to get on with it , just need to live with it’ undermining her issues and making her feel like nothing is going to help her and to just go private. Some help.

Well ! NHS Medical Centre:First Point of Contact FREE.Like many other Health Centres, the staff are over worked & undervalued!!I moved here 2016 and cannot praise the staff and excellent health care high enough.I like many, have a number of health issues. Nevertheless, if you show patience, understanding, and a willingness to believe that anyone can be ill and require medical attention. You will reap the rewards of how good our FREE Medical Centre is.One Satisfied Thornliebank Heath Centre Patient.Mr K

I spoke to a receptionist today that I needed my prescription urgently since I used my last tablet yesterday, before then they used to send prescription to my local chemist in town but thing's changed, the receptionist who sounded so rude, proud, arrogant and very unprofessional tried to convince me that I have already taken my prescription and they cannot give a new one,and ths are my blood pressure medication which I really needed, when I refused to accept I have taken prescription just put me on hold and came back telling me it has been on surgery since, I don't know when?? I told her that is wrong and I don't think that OK telling me they can't give any since I knew 100% I haven't taken any ,she responded saying it doesn't matter what I think and she started shouting threatening to hangup the call ,the saddest part is, ths was pressure medication not sweets or chocolates to tell someone you cannot give another prescription...personally I work with home care patient prescription and I know all the rules.how sad such a person kept there to frustrate people in need. It's good to handle people with dignity u never know, again it's good to treat patient wit care, explanation in a good manner cause no harm to people but arrogance ,attitude does.Something needs to be done ASAP since most of reviews are not great btw Doctor's in surgery are great for many year's I have been with them.

This place is an absolute disgrace. First of all, in order to make an appointment I needed to call up everyday @ 8:30. Which I did for about a week and NO-ONE ANSWERED. Then the doctor did not send my prescription through to pharmacy. Making a blood test appointment is pathetic. I called up the surgery and the receptionist said you need to call line No.3. I called up Line No.3 and the receptionist said to me you need to call up Line No.1. The receptionists working there don't even know how to do their job. The doctors there are an absolute piss-take that they are sending the patients to the local pharmacy.

STAY CLEAR OF DR CANNING AND HIS GROUP!!Absolutely discusting behaviour for GPs. Don't read notes. Try and tell you medication can't be given because it will damage parts of my body. If they read my notes they would see, I don't have this part of my body from life long illness....They hold back medication as I need to see a pharmacist, BUT don't tell me. A week later I have a migraine like I want to cut my head off. Go to get my medication only to ve told I can't cos doctor has held it back. STAY CLEAR THEY ARE MORE LIKE COMEDIANS THAN DOCTORS AND I HAVE WATCHED DOCTOR GOOGLE MY CONDITION.

Receptionist are clueless and rude. Was going to be 10/15 mins late for an emergency appointment for 5 month old son, got my mrs to phone up and let them know only to wait and hour and a half when I got in and told he won’t be seen. Place was borderline empty with doctors and nurses floating around doing nothing but talking. Will be registering us at a different doctors from now on. having to go to A&E now.

Worst experience with this place. It's been a year now since I was in the UK, but this place is not letting me register with the GP.It is clearly mentioned on the website of NHS that I don't need to have any proof to register. But they told me to get a bank statement as proof of address. I did that, and then she told me that it was not enough. You have to get a tenancy agreement. My child is due a vaccine. They are saying that I have to register first and not register me. Plus, they are rude enough to deal with. ZERO stars.
