Awful. I am of poor health and none of the customers were social distancing or giving me my required space. I raised this with a male member of staff and asked for help, I was visibly shaking, he laughed at me. Raised it again at the checkout and a young girl again showed no help, compassion. No hand sanitiser at the door, or around the store, and none for the staff on the tills. If only zero stars existed.

Recently refurbished; the shop has a wide range of goods that you would find in most supermarkets. It is conveniently located in Egremont with 1 hour free parking at the rear of the shop. The prices are a bit elevated, but you would expect to pay more for the convenience. They do have a discount loyalty card that helps bring costs down.

I like food from the CO OP always fresh & I like their ethics, maybe a little more expensive but good quality which makes up for the sometimes lengthy waits at the check outs & not always helpful staff. The shop is easily accessible through large automatic doors & is on one level, quite spacious.

Assistance at self checkouts was absolutely appalling, this took an extremely long time stood waiting around even though was told someone was on the way

Excellent small store which serves the community well. Has a very wide variety of stuff in a small space and we can usually get everything we need including creamed coconut! Can't wait for the seascale store to open so we don't have to use McColls which replaced beach stores (and ruined a lovely local shop).

The staff are great and the shop is well stocked with everything a shopper could need but it *IS* expensive. And when they sell damaged goods or fresh food that is close to its use by date, the price change is so small it's simply not worth it. e.g. a loaf costing 85p that is out of date in 24 hours will be reduced to 75p!

My local Co op has recently been smartly refurbished. I love the staff, they are so friendly and helpful and they usually have a good selection of products. The bakery part sells out quickly though. They have recently introduced ticketing to the car park, which although free for an hour is a slight pain having to go get a ticket.

For a small village shop the Co-op has everything including free parking. The shop is always clean, the staff are friendly the fresh food is as good if not better than the likes of Tesco & Sainsbury. All the meat is British, the Co-op branded products are great and if you opt for a loyalty card you actually get 5% back, plus 1% goes to a local charity of your choice. It has charities such as Egremont Youth or Whitehaven Youth water activities. The 5% I get is great but to think it is also helping our local youth that is a bonus. They have a quick self-service check out if you are in a hurry, the milk was cheaper here than Morrisons for the whole of December plus you get 5% back.It was used by us as a local store but more recently we now get a weekly sop here as they have so much to offer.

I purchased my groceries yesterday from our local co op , as usual the veg although a bit more pricey than the usual supermarkets is always fresh and flavoursome , also the bread and morning foods also delicious ,along with their irresistible range ,this quality is comparable to M&S ,when this quality is on offer why not try and enjoy! Oh and don't forget the dividend on all co op purchases .
