MDR Home Inspections

Michael came out to review our new build a few days after we got the keys and he found 88 defects, none of which we would have seen or noticed ourselves. He was punctual, friendly and professional. Highly recommend him to anyone purchasing a new build. Fantastic service at a great price!

Fantastic experience with Michael. Paid the deposit online and he came up to our new build on a Bank Holiday Monday just a couple of days after we got the keys.Cracked on with the job and was thorough and professional using colour coded stickers and explaining everything before sending out a full document with a list itemised by room.Cannot recommend enough. Anybody buying a house - ESPECIALLY a new build - should use Michael, he found loads of things we never would have spotted.

Purchased a new build from Taylor Wimpey in November and had the pleasure of having Michael come in to inspect the house. Very thorough throughout the house, highlighting every single detail that any unsuspecting home owner would never be able to find. Well worth the small fee to make sure everything was up to standard! Michael spent between 2-3 hours inspecting the house and then kindly informed me of things that needed our attention. A few days after we received a very comprehensive list of snags which was sent directly to the developer. All in all a very happy customer, we cant thank Michael enough for his brilliant service!

Michael came out the day after I completed on my new build and did a thorough inspection, taking his time, listening to my concerns about the property and finding a total of 94 defects which would of cost me far in excess of his services. He was knowledgeable and gave really good recommendations and advice. Report was sent the same evening with pictures and easy to understand descriptions. A really nice guy and super professional. He was also the cheapest I could find locally which normally means less quality service but this absolutely not the case. If I could give higher than 5 stars I would! Well recommended

Michael is a star! He responded very quickly to our snagging request and drove all the way to Cambridge just after Christmas and did an excellent job! He found more than 120 issues with the property, a few of which were actually quite major. The builder has accepted the inspection report and is currently rectifying the issues. I highly recommend MDR - truly fantastic service!

Michael was brilliant. Great communication before hand to help us sort out a date and explain the process before he came to us.When with us Michael spot over 70 snags with many things we would never of noticed until it was to late.In general though it was a pleasure to have Michael in our home and the service he gave us was fantastic.If you are getting a new home I would highly recommend getting a home inspection to give you that peace of mind and I would also equally highly recommend using MDR.Thank you Michael!

I would highly recommend MDR home inspections to anybody who is buying a new property, or has bought a new property in the last 2 years which is guaranteed by the NHBC. As the house builder/ developer have to repair anything which is not right within the first two years.Micheal is a professional house builder, who is no longer working as a house builder but a professional snagging inspector. I recently purchased two new apartments in Luton Town Centre, believing naively that they were going to be all lovely and new with no problems whatsoever.However, when i went to inspect my so called brand new apartments, i realised there were lots of tiny thing that were not right. However as i wouldn't classify myself as a competent builder i picked up on around 10-15 faults on each apartment. Due to not being happy with the finish i decided to go with MDR home inspections to carry out a professional snagging report. Micheal Reynolds from MDR picked up a total of 115 issues with one apartment and around a 100 in the other.Not only were they the cheapest snagging company i could find, but also the ones who would carry out the work within 48 hours. Whereas other companies were charging more money and wanted me to wait 3 weeks.The snagging reports are worth there weight in gold, considering I have just spent £180,000 on a brand new apartment. I want it to be perfect so for the price of a professional report to carried out by somebody competent, what they charge is next to nothing and well worth it.Because now i have a professional report, which states all of the defects in both of my properties. Therefore, the developer has no choice but to put things right. Plus it would have cost me a lot more money to put things right.I cant thank Micheal enough for his professional advice and his very detailed and thorough snagging inspection reports. First time I met with Michel he is the best that I could find in snagging survay for my first property which I got no experience at all he got alot of professional experience for the new home I buy and anyone who got Michel will be brilliant and peace of mind to get the property on your buying process.
