We had a lovely experience at the Schmidt showroom in Knowle. The team were very friendly, approachable and professional. We were particularly impressed by the kitchen designer Roula. She really stood out with her creativity, bright ideas and vision. She was a real inspiration. The time we spent with her really helped us define what we want from our kitchen. She was very patient, knowledgeable and professional.

We’re so pleased with our new kitchen from Schmidt! Such good quality and the finish is superb. Shelly and Mark and the team were so friendly and easy to work with throughout the whole process, nothing was too much trouble. And we have to give a special thank you to the fitters Tom and Josh, whose attention to detail was incredible!

We would like to thank Shelly, Mark, Ivana, Sam and his team for the exceptional experience Schmidt in Knowle provided throughout our kitchen renovation project. From our first visit to the showroom to the final sign-off, all parties have gone out of their way to offer helpful advice, and to deliver professionally and on time. Ivana was very sympathetic to our design needs and went out of her way to help and advise/revise the design until we were completely happy. Shelly and Mark ensure a very high level of communication so that we knew exactly what was happening and when. The timeline was adhered to throughout. They offer a very personal service and are very personable - easy to contact at any time and very responsive. Nothing is too much trouble. Sam, Steve and all those involved in fitting the kitchen were exemplary in terms of communication, reliability, courteousness and care. They were utterly pleasant to deal with and we felt completely at ease entrusting the house to them while we went away for a few days during the fit. Shelly is meticulous in ensuring that the work is completed to the highest standards and was so helpful throughout. This is the most positive and professional experience we've ever had of any project and we have no hesitation in recommending them. Thank you so much! (Ted was an added delight!)

We are absolutely delighted with our new kitchen - beautifully designed by Ivana, wonderfully project managed by Shelly and expertly installed (+ building work) by the extremely professional Sam, Steve and team. We were recommended SCHMIDT kitchens by a friend and our local showroom was run by Shelly and Mark in Solihull.From start to finish they guided us through very professionally. A special thank you to Ivana who really knew her stuff. Any snags were dealt with quickly. We are very pleased with the final product.

We visited a few kitchen showrooms but when we got to Schmidt and spent a bit of time with them we knew this was the one for us. From meeting Shelley and Mark it was a relaxed and fun experience getting a feel for the range so we made an appointment to meet with their designer Harpz.Harpz talked us through all the options of appliances, cabinets and worktops in great detail and we got a great result.Harpz knows every aspect of the Schmidt products and his eye for detail is very good.The whole experience was very positive and would definitely recommend Schmidt kitchens and the team at Knowle.

This review is for my mother’s new kitchen which was completed during 2023. Designed and fitted by Schmidt Kitchens in Knowle, Solihull.The initial plan for my mother kitchen which is only small, was to get it refurbished but the cost seemed high so we thought we would compare to new.Walking along the high street Schmidt Kitchens is well presented and looks impressive / expensive but a ball park figure was very similar to the quote for refurbishing.DesignThe following week the designer (Ivana) came to measure-up and she was thorough! all my mother’s gadgets – soup makers etc were measured. Within the week we had a design and something to discuss. Like many elderly people my mother has disabilities and Ivana had the ideas, solutions and enthusiasm to overcome all of these issues - my mother was part of the process and confident she could cope. This was also helped by a VR walk around of the final design.Some of the changes:• Moving to draws rather than inaccessible cupboards• Washing machine and dishwasher moved for better accessibility• Removal of wall cupboards• Separate fridge and freezer – more space / better access• Small area for lunchQuoteAlso nice to know is that the ball park figure and final quote were very similar.Overall, considering the high quality I was very pleased with the price.FittingThe kitchen was also fitted through Schmidt and the fitter Tom was part of the process making sure the final design was good from his perspective.The actual fitting process worked well, Tom was very professional, pleasant and the workmanship, attention to detail, housekeeping etc were all excellent – highly recommended.ConclusionI would certainly be described as critical but from start to finish I simply have nothing negative to say. More importantly from my mothers point of view everything is working well, she was struggling with the old kitchen but can now see, reach and find whatever, and has a place to eat. Keeping my mother independent for as long as possible is certainly very important and by good design and focusing on my mother disabilities we have definitely achieved that. Oh looks good too!

We wanted to fill a lounge wall with a bookcase to house photo albums and other collectibles. Attracted by the Schmidt showroom in Knowle we discussed the possibilities with them, and, after a visit to our home, a design/spec was promoted which we liked. After agreeing the price an order was placed and delivered in individual panels and pieces, all separately well packaged. A fitting date had been previously agreed and all was fitted in a full day with one mishap which required a replacement panel, this was fitted a short time later.Throughout the process we were supported well by Chloe and Shelley and overall we are very pleased with the final display.We would recommend Schmidt to anyone looking for a quality product with good support throughout.

As soon as we walked into the Knowle Showroom, we knew we'd found the right place for our new kitchen. Contemporary styles that we loved, high quality cabinets and very smart use of space were all aspects that surpassed our expectations straight away. We'd seen some 'OK' kitchen designs but nothing got us excited until we got to Schmidt. Then we met the team; Shelly and Mark and the Harpz the designer. Just fantastic lovely people who were just a pleasure to deal with. It was uncanny how accurately the virtual reality presentation of our kitchen reflected the finished installation. Of great value in itself. Delivery was on time and Tom the kitchen fitter was so attentive to every aspect. There have been no faults. Aftercare and follow-up superb.You might think I've been paid to write this review. No way! Genuinely a fantastic product and service from start to finish and they fully deserve a five star rating.
