My husband was interested in a car here. He found issues with the car and they stated they would fix it. They wanted a £250 holding fee he said to my husband it would be refundable. My husband remembers possible clutch issues when he was driving it aswell and thought this could possibly be a mistake buying it. Today he rang up the dealership to request the £250 back. The reply was 'you're not getting a penny back'. Their attitude has suddenly changed and they have become nasty. In no way was my husband putting a DEPOSIT down to purchase the car. Also they suddenly sent an invoice today which states nothing about non refundable deposit.This wouldn't have happend if they originally stated no refund for £250. Instead they made out it was refundable. We can't afford to lose £250 and the fact that the man on the phone from this dealership sounded like he was enjoying my husband being stressed is disgusting.You the dealership requested a holding fee under false pretences.We will be going to trading standards about this.UPDATE... only after seeing this review the dealership have now refunded the £250.

Bought a Volvo XC60 from Midland Automotive Group about a month ago, it’s absolutely brilliant and I’m delighted by my purchase. Low mileage, one previous owner, full Volvo service history and 12 months MOT to go. Perfect find. Midland Automotive had replaced front discs and pads, serviced and prepped the vehicle to a high standard. Anthony, who is an experienced sales person, explained everything, presented background checks on vehicle and a short warranty insurance for major parts. This reassured me. I traded-in another vehicle. He was firm but fair in negotiation and we shook hands on a deal. I have absolutely no complaints and can 5* recommend Midland Automotive Group for a used car purchase.

Went to view a Range Rover evoque last weekend, after looking around the car and test driving it I noticed it need the wheel alignment doing aswell as the front tyres were worn and so with the brake discs all round, after the pushy salesman (Antony) tried talking me into signing the finance agreement, I then asked is the following going to be replaced? He replied talking down to me like a child. After all who would spend 16k on a car that wants parts changing in the near future. Don’t waste your time with this cowboy establishment!!

On the 21st of July I bought a BMW 520d M-Sport Touring.What can I say, I can't fault Anthony at all. Polite, helpful, easy going and quick to respond to any queries, there was no pressure whatsoever involved in the purchase. The car was in near perfect condition considering it's 10 years old and way beyond my expectations.What can I say, I'm extremely pleased and will have no hesitation returning here for my next car. I'll also be recommending Midland Automotive Group to anyone in the market for a vehicle.Don't worry, you won't be disappointed.

Would avoid! Thought £185 for major service and MOT was a fair price. This also included a free drop off to my home whilst the work was being done. (Amazing). Booked a days holiday to sort my car out.Firstly I called them because I got lost (clearly my fault) but their attitude was poor.When I dropped my car off I was told they could no longer provide the drop off service (luckily I had a friend that could pick me up) but still not great as this was not planned.20 minutes from leaving I get a call to say my car looks great other than the break discs and pads at the front (95% worn apparently). They said if the works don't get done that it will fail its MOT. Interesting but sure how much will that cost me? I was quoted £280!!! For just the fronts. I've told them that's far too expensive so I will go elsewhere for an MOT and works. (FYI the breaks were not 95% worn and I've been quoted £170 from multiple garages)After the discussion on the phone, they said they would call when they had finished the service. I did get a call but with where are you?"

Brilliant gararge took my car there for a coolant leak . We're so understanding and helpfull . Brilliant communication and just all lovely people. Would 100% recommend

Every time I've had something wrong with my car, I've took it to this garage and they have sorted it with no issues (MOT, Service, Brakes, Engine, Punctures). Very reasonable prices and friendly. Would definitely recommend.

I’ve taken my car for an MOT here twice and the service has always been amazing. A friendly and helpful team who do the best job. Will always be my first choice for any issues with my car. Would highly recommend!

Took my BMW 3 series in for full service and Mot which was done nicely. However I collect my car and drive off and then my engine warning light comes up. I take it back to them the next day. They wouldn’t even do a diagnostics unless I paid. Turns out they didn’t put the vacuum lines for the turbo back after taking it out. I had to resolve the issue myself.I wouldn’t use them again

Took both mine and my mum,s car here for MOTs before great service for those. Recently my car had a fault after getting a few quotes Midland Auto came out favorably so I decided to use them. Glad I did great service yet again would recommend them and will be using them again for definite.Thank you
