Urban Golf - Kensington National

Very cool... if you're into golf

I feel a bit bad giving an average rating to Urban Golf, especially as I didn't even play a game. But if you're not crazy about sport and happen to be going along with a large group of golf enthusiasts, you'll spend an awful lot of time getting to know the bar.Luckily it's really quite pleasant. It has a modern gentlemen's club feel about it, with a stack of board games and a book shelf to complete the look. Drinks are priced around average for the area (expect to pay £7 for a cocktail) and there are plenty of sofas if you don't want to join in with the golf.I wouldn't choose to come here again, but that's because golf bores me to tears. But the boys and girls I was with seemed to have a great time whacking balls into a virtual landscape. Each to their own.
