Finally the city centre has a decent fish & chip shop. This place has only been open a couple of weeks but we’ve been there quite a few times.The portions are a really good size and the taste is exceptional, the menu has quite large variety for a small fish & chip shop.They even have a little sit in area as well which is great for having sit down and a quick bite to eat after shopping around Anglia Square.

I had a good feeling about this place as soon as I walked in. I was greeted with a smile and I instantly noticed the fish was all being cooked to order- perfect!The haddock, sausage and chips I ordered was fantastic and the batter was perfectly crispy with just the right amount of seasoning. The haddock was also fresh to the taste. What more could I ask for!This place is the perfect example of 'do the small things right and the rest will take care of itself'Keep up the good work guys! You are onto a winning formula.

Discover this restaurant/takeaway whilst on our way to Epic Studios. Really interesting menu and very helpful staff. We both had sausage and chips. The food was not greasy at all and very tasty. They had a garlic and herb mayonnaise which was delicious. I use a wheelchair and althiugh there is not a huge amount of tables, it was easy to sit comfortably. Reasonable costs too. A great discovery.

Great tasting chips! New management have worked hard. They now cook in vegetable oil and offer veggie sausage options too which makes a difference. Very friendly chip shop and well presented portions in boxes.

Amazing food! We return here regularly and the food is great. Really good portion sizes, friendly staff and the shop itself is really clean with a great atmosphere. The cod is delicious and the chips are cooked perfectly. Wouldn't go anywhere else now!

We had take-away. The staff were super friendly and helpful.I've not been to UK for more than 10 years and fish and chips is one of the few things that I miss.The fish and chips we had was everything I've looked for all these years. Both the fish and the chips exceeded my expectations, and satisfied my cravings.Excellent guys, well done.

I asked Google to direct me to a fish and chip shop at 8.30 on a Monday evening and it took me to The Fish & Chip Shop on Magdalen Street. The premises are clean and attractive, with a small seating area. The food is reasonably priced and good quality. The fish isn't fat or greasy. It was a slender fillet, just of the right depth and fully skinned, with a fluffy batter. The chips were of equally high quality. It is probably the first time I've not had any leftovers or waste at the end of my fish supper.

Absolutely amazing! I tried the fish and chips and the sausages!! What can i say?! It was delicious!! More than i expected! The fish was perfect and the size was actually very big. And the sausages was very different and lovely! I wish it was next to my house that i could enjoy the food wherever i wanted. If youre looking for an amazing taste of fish and chips. This is the place to go!!!
