Garden Centre
Homebase now has lots of lovely bedding plants and other things ready for the garden! A good deal on compost too. 4 50 ltr bags for £10

Lots of varied stock with lots of customers. Not all wearing masks. Very hot in the summer months as the building is essentially a greenhouse. Be prepared to be patient at the checkouts. Staff still managing a smile.

Sainsbury home base was lovely. Got all we wanted there. Plants for garden and much needed electrical equipment which we wanted and been looking for. Also people very helpful.

Wide variety of plants water features and figures to choose from. Lots of fresh produce and separate fish to buy many other shops inside to browse around. A nice way to spend a few hours

Much better than when I last visited it.More decorative plants but still nothing like as much before Covid. Prices still extortionate.Hardware such as stone back on their shelves but at ludicrous prices.Vegetable seedlings almost non existant.Has set up a silly little clothing department!Better but still has a mountain to climb to justify its continuation.

Two paints I wanted are not available as store has more limited range than the available manufacturers' tester pots. No offer to order them in was made.

This is a bit ambidextrous as this is part of homebase and not really a separate garden centre. Just because you walk past it to go through main homebase entrance it gives it another option to review, it's not really a garden centre, just a section of hombase that sells a few plants.

Nice place. Always well kept with everything you'd need. I didn't buy on this visit as I found Wickes was doing the same range of hozelock products for considerably less.

Really poor stock control/management here. Lots of basic items always out of stock; undercoat, dust masks, etc. So not reliable at all. Also so many items put on displays without being priced or with prices missing.Tried to feed back to a manager but was told they were too busy.
