Jon is unquestionably a top, top coach with an insane amount of knowledge on personal training and combat sports that make his sessions effective and enjoyable.I started training with Jon back in September 2022. Having never set foot in a boxing ring my goal was to improve my fitness levels, learn a bit of boxing and hopefully gain enough experience to start sparring. Less than 4 months on I’m feeling in great shape and I’m already enjoying light sparring with Jon’s other clients, who are all great guys.I definitely recommend Jon’s classes to anyone as, fitness wise l, it’s the best decision I’ve ever made. I’m really excited to see what progress I can make over the next 12 months.I decided to look into PT after years of training on my own and going through the same old cycle. Training well for a few months then busy dad/work life would take over and I’d lose track and be back to square one again. Jon has helped me stay focused and with his sessions and guidance i can finally say I’ve broke that cycle by finding a fitness regime that is enjoyable, challenging and also mentally stimulating.Big thanks to Jon and his clients who have made me feel really welcome down the gym.

I started training with Jon in 2007 in my parents garage but properly in 2012 when Jon opened his own gym.This changed my life incredibly!!I have trained 4 times a week for the past 10 years .I cannot recommend Jon highly enough .If you want to learn how to box , build muscle , lose fat or just increase you general fitness , their is nobody better to help you do this .Jon also provides great diet and nutrition plans which is all included in the service he offers ,Jon really is the best in his field .

Been training with Jon for over 2 years now,He is an excellent trainer and coach. Both my technical boxing skills have improved dramatically and the 1-1 resistance training sessions had improved my understanding of how to utilise my training sessions to maximise results. I enjoy and always look forward to the weekly boxing pad work sessions, they are a great stress reliever.

I Recommend Jon to anyone who is trying to loose weight and improve there fitness.I started training with him after I had my son and have had 0 regrets.He has taught me lots of different things and helped me with meal preparation ideas.I feel a lot more comfortable in this gym rather then anywhere else as it is a 1-1 session.

I’ve been training with Jon since September 2021 and in terms of fitness/training, it’s the best thing I’ve done. I had been training at home since the pandemic and needed a new level of training and as a huge boxing fan, I’ve always wanted to try boxing but the preference was for 1 to 1 sessions so I found JJ Fitness via a Google search.Jon taught me the basics, then moved onto pad work and before I knew it, he had me sparring with his other clients, all of whom are great lads. Jon got me sparring because he knew I was ready and that gave me the confidence to spar with others regularly, I’ve even sparred him and can say first hand how much of a good boxer he is himself.Jon gives tips on diet, protein, muscle recovery and is an overall great guy. I am able to talk to him during sessions to get feedback on where I need to improve, he’s recorded a few pad work sessions and a sparring session so I can visually see how I’m performing.On top of all of the above, he is reasonably priced and I haven’t regretted spending a penny. Highly recommended for all levels, I had never put on a pair gloves before training with Jon and feel like I’ve learnt a lot and can learn a lot more from him.
