Bangladesh Assistant High Commission, Birmingham

Worst service here!This is why i dislike bangladesh. People can't get things right in this place!

My visit to them was quick , professional and polite. There was an issue, although I had got confirmation by email of my time slots. Their day planner did not have my details. But they accepted this was their error and progressed all five of my family’s applications ( Passport renewal) . Process was efficiently done. And although their website has issues . There is no hinderances at the counters. If all transactions with Bangladesh Government employees / agencies was as competent as these officers life would be so much easier.

I am a appalled by the service, I expected a high level of service as this is a high commission office. However, that does seem to be the case.I have tried to contact the office for over two weeks however their phone lines are always off! When it is switched on then they don’t even answer the phone! Why have a phone then?!I have even called their so called 24/7 emergency line no surprise they don’t answer I left text messages and voicemails yet no response! So much for 24/7 more like 0/0 if I could leave 0 stars I would.This kind of customer service is not nice at all and has deeply saddened me. For such a high and respected office I would have expected better.What a shame.

My first visit in there was nice. In my point of view they are better than High commission in London. Their behavior is very impressive. All the staff talk to the people very nicely and try to find out the information. But working process is little bit slow it may depand the system or may be the people.

An excellent experience today. I was dealt with professionally and promptly and the Asst. HC adjusted their procedures to reflect the relative urgency of my need for a Visa. Returning tomorrow to collect.

A very stressful and worrying experience.You would think there was no fee and they were there working for free.The gentleman at the main reception desk is unfriendly and unhelpful.Phone never answered and as per previous texts the emergency text / WhatsApp number is not answered.If I did not know someone who knew someone I might still be struggling. Had to stress 2 friends out to get my visa back in time.Maybe one day the service will improve…

omg .wow i'm impressed . such a great service i have received today . been few time before in high commission in manchester service was terrible i was even worried to go birmingham high commission has no choice .i though all will be same i was wrong . honestly i was impress by service today very helpful attentive staff . i must mention gentleman called Ifteqar .sorry forgot his full name ..he was brilliant.go to him his very helpful ... glad i'm move to birmingham ..

A High Commission; an establishment that is supposed to maintain high standards of professionalism.You'll find that it's quite the opposite. The entire place is full of inhumane individuals that have zero sense of enthusiasm. They lack respect for us 'clients'. If you're Bangladeshi like me, you'll find that you'll be a victim of racial discrimination here, from your OWN KIND.Also, we were turned away during our last visit. A gentleman advised us to return to where we travelled from, which happened to be 90 miles away. He then continued to tell us to travel to a post office to use postal application services, but to ring them if we have any troubles. Today marks the 7th day that I've been ringing, with no answer.To the chairman/executives of the High Commission, please reconsider who you employ. Or better yet, replace yourselves, as you people are the reason your staff perform and act the way they do.I am appalled, disappointed; and your staff members are very much lucky that they didn't end up with their faces through the wall.
