Don't bother going there the meal was total rubbish chef needs to brush up on how to cook steak properly, three items missing from menu by the time staff replaced same meal was stone cold, third visit like this. Tell chef kill the beast before serving this rubbish. Moo blood running all over plate. Staff could not care less. I WONT BE COMING BACK NEITHER WILL SEVERAL FRIENDS ALL SAY THE SAME. GOURMET STEAK I THINK NOT. RUBBISH, SHOOTTHE CHEF.i was a regular customer not any more.

Called in here whilst staying at campsite in area. Clean and reasonably decorated. Had two bowls of scampi and chips. Cooked to perfection. Drinks, as always, very reasonably priced. Was surprised to find prices higher than our Wetherspoons in Lincoln. Thought they were all priced the same. Only one person serving with a few of us waiting. Big pub and big bar for only one member of staff to manage.Would definitely return when next in area.

Lovely room. The bar/restaurant is awesome - such a beautiful conversion. Food is excellent, as always. The staff are wonderful. Truly lovely. I have never seen a ladies toilet like it. My only one criticism would be there are no tables for smokers - you have to go right outside the gate by the road!

Food was good for the prices cooked perfectly. Drinks cheapest around and the have offers on for food and drink. Order at the bar with your table number. Former church and house with some fetures still in place makes for a nice decor.

Wonderful pub and hotel. The hotel was a little bit pricey for my liking - but it was an last minute booking well into the night, so I can absolutely understand that.The novelty of being able to take cans and bottles of beer from the bar, with a glass, to your hotel room, will likely bring me back again.The room and bathroom were lovely, best shower I've had in a while.Cheers!

Cannot fault it, the food is always fantastic, served fast, plenty of tables, all the seats are very comfortable. We come here every couple weeks and we have never been disappointed, not even once. The only downside is the lack of free parking, there is a car park across the road near the george hotel, but it's £2 for parking. Still worth it though.

Came in for lunch & ordered ham eggs& chips which i had ordered previously.Ham was now just cheap packet type ham whereas previously it was good quality & eggs were well overdone. Would not recommend this dish.Waitress did offer to get more eggs.Wife ordered Chicken strips which she was happy with.with.
