The owner of the Adele Marie is an incredibly helpful man, keeping our booking for the 2 years as the pandemic delayed things time and again. He offered us (novices with ages between 74 and 84) a short trip to show us the ropes and met us outside the marina to help moor up at the end, and was very good in advising us and showing us the boat. The information sent to us before our trip was of great valueThe boat was very comfortable for the 4 of us and the ladies did two anniversary dinners for our respective wedding anniversaries in a well-equipped kitchen. We slept like babes in the very comfortable beds. We certainly would be willing to come again.

We had a wonderful few days on the Adele Marie. The boat has everything you need and has been furnished with two very comfy beds. The only suggestion we have is the lock on the bathroom door needs some work. Otherwise, thanks for having us and we're looking forward to coming back already.

We had a wonderful experience exploring the Shropshire Union Canal aboard the Adele Marie. Martin was a warm and welcoming host who put all our anxieties about controlling the boat at ease, giving us enough instruction and agency to head out confidently on our own very quickly. The boat was easy to use, great to drive and clean and well-appointed inside, with everything you could reasonably expect to have in a compact but comfortable space. Floating Dreams, Martin and the Adele Marie come highly recommended by us, it's a fantastic way to spend a few days meandering along the British countryside.

We booked this trip as our first family holiday since lockdown and it was everything we could have wished for and more! From the first conversation with Martin until the end of our trip he was amazing, so helpful and on the end of the phone if needed at any point. The boat itself was clean, comfortable, well equipped. including the little touches with the hot drinks starter pack. Heating was great for chilly evenings and the kitchen area was big enough to be able to cook up a storm for breakfast. We made it to the Anderton boat lift and back within our 4 days and it was amazing! Would absoloulty recommend Martin's boat if your looking for a chilled, scenic canal trip!! Can't wait to re book and try out a different route- thank you!

Amazing trip. This was a dream come true. I have been fascinated with narrow boats for over 10 years and finally booked a holiday weekend on one. The entire process was so easy. The website is user friendly and I was able to pick the ideal boat and location to meet our needs. The communications was flawless. Quick responses with impeccable detail and information. Once we arrived our instructor, Martin, walked us through the entire process from head to toe. We felt very confident once we were on our own. We also had direct communication if needed. What a wonderful experience. Highly recommend this company for your next narrow boat getaway.

From booking the holiday the correspondence was outstanding. The holiday was an absolute dream like nothing our family had experienced. Will be booking a longer boating holiday and looking to purchase one for retirement.

Adele Marie is a lovely boat. Very comfortable beds and a good shower in the bathroom. We had a fabulous week on the canals and the weather was glorious too. We would definitely recommend Floating Dreams and we will be back!

We have just returned from a week aboard Adele Marie, which we were very pleased with. The boat was nice and clean and had everything you could need. Martin was very genial and thorough in his handover presentation and communication generally!The 5 star rating is definitely well deserved, but I would just like to add one small observation about the Llangollen Canal, which we chose as our route for the week... It's a bit hectic in parts and often pretty narrow - Tight when you meet an on coming boat and there's already one moored up alongside.. We did get quite flustered at times and several passing canal holiday makers good naturedly called over as we passed, that they 'thought this was supposed to be a leisurely holiday'.That's all subjective of course.. But I can certainly recommend Martin and 'Floating Dreams' as a company you can book with 100% complete confidence and all at a great price too. Thank you Martin

Martin was very welcoming and gave a great induction on the boat. Everything you needed to know was mentioned and more besides. The boat is well equipped and comfortable. We had our springer spaniel with us and she loved every minute watching the ducks and swans glide past as we chugged along.Lots of information given before arriving to the marina, videos of locks, and boat manual were given meaning you are well advised before venturing out.Lovely boat, Martin is a top bloke. Would recommend to anyone who is looking for their narrow boat experience.

Very relaxing week with a couple of friends, and fantastic weather, would highly recommend this holiday on a great Narrowboat kitted out perfectly. This was our first time and after the tuition we loved the freedom, peace and quiet. The locks turned out to be easier than we thought so no need for the stress, as the whole experience was stress free. Thought of doing this for years and now 70+ feel annoyed we didn’t do it long ago.
