I bought a second hand 8HP outboard from here, a few days before the warranty ran out it stopped charging, I was worried I couldn't get it back in time, but they told me they would honour the warranty whenever I could get it down to them. It has now provided me with an excellent trouble free summer, friendly manager, and excellent informative mechanic, highly recommend you guys. Should be 5 star, but a long way for me to bring in back.

Further to my 1 star review, they did eventually come back to me via email but I had solved my issue elsewhere by then. I have tried to withdraw my 1 star review as a result but have not been able to find redacting it.

Excellent service friendly staff and mechanics, very knowledgeable. They have saved me a lot of time and hassel. Top knotch thanks again.

Excellent service from the team at Cambridge outboard service I purchased this engine Tuesday evening around 5pm and they said they would have a courier pic it up Wednesday morning but as it was coming up to the west coast of Scotland it would take a few days for delivery then today Thursday I had a call to say it was out for delivery and would be with me today 15 min later i had a call from there courier to say they where 30 min away from my location so I was well happy as it was next day delivery really the engine was well packaged with bubble wrap and cardboard and was well secured to the pallet it arrived on so can't recommend these guys enough for the speedy delivery and service they gave me from buy the engine to it arriving at my home I will definitely use them for all my future purchases and for the service kit next job for Me is to fit it and try it out this weekend hopefully can't say how happy I am thanks again to the team at Cambridge outboard serviceMr David Stone

Excellent service every time over the phone with Michaela .2 x 20hp tohatsu's over the last 3 years we have purchased and like everything it needs to be regularly maintained .Call cambridge outboards around lunchtime and Michaela gets it delivered to my door on next day delivery .

I initially bought an outboard and then later a Zodiac Inflatable, ordering was straightforward and delivery was very quick. Their pricing was the best on the web and they were very helpful when I asked for advice.There was a manufacturing quality control issue with the inflatable which was resolved quickly and to my satisfaction by Cambridge Outboards, always a good test for any company after purchase.I am very happy to recommend Cambridge Outboards to anyone looking for a great deal on an outboard or inflatable boat.I dealt with Daniel who did exactly what he agreed, I will contact Cambridge Outboards again when I'm looking for more boating gear. Excellent Serivce have spoken to Cambridge Outboards a couple of times for advice about Mercury Mariner 115hp outboards while purchasing a new one pre rigged to a new boat.After being very helpful have just taken the new Quicksilver Bowrider with new Mercury 115hp engine to them for its first 20hr service.Was able to trailer the boat to them just in time for opening and then collect the boat the same day as promised.Competitive pricing and very helpful. A++ service

Bought 2 outboard tanks for my mariner outboard, great service great price and fast free delivery, hope I won't change my engine soon but if I do they will be supplying me with everything I need next time, cheapest online I could find 2 day free postage no brainer, thanks everyone at uk outboards

Amazing service. Callum and Jack were outstanding, serviced my Mercury engine while the boat was in the water. Very professional and knowledgeable. Will recommend them to all and everyone I know that needs their outboard serviced. Well done guys, keep up the superb work!

Trying to buy a gasket kit. Sent photos of the old engine a week ago. I’ve phoned everyday for a week and still no answer on what kit to buy. My perception is that I am not worth their while because I’m not spending several thousand pounds on a brand new engine. Generally feel fobbed off and have been put in the “not worth their time and too difficult box”. Dry friendly but keep getting asked the same questions whenever I phone and giving the same answers but they don’t actually listen. Suggest they are good if you are going to boost their profit margins but if you need some serious technical advice don’t bother. Go to an old school engineer instead. In su, poor service for the “little man”.
