Always liked this pub and quite a large group of us met up for a family birthday after going to cinema.The only downside was the fact that they were closing at 20.00 that night (Yep, 8.00 Sunday evening).Hay ho, I'm sure they know their customers.

Beautiful ambience and incredible food. Vegetables were tender and roast beef just melted. Great flavor and friendly staff

A well-run, traditional town pub. Good quality food and beer only a short walk from the town centre.Worthing used to have a lot of good quality, small pubs in the town centre. In many ways, this is the last pub standing and long may it be there.

My wife and I where in Worthing for a day trip and decided to call in for some lunch. Found the food and service excellent. The bar has a cosy friendly atmosphere about it. Highly recommend.

We have been for Sunday lunch but having seen the menu thought we would try the evening mealsI had the cottage pie + chips which was plentiful and very, very tasty.My partner had a Vegan meal and loved itThe bar staff were friendly, attentive and helpfulThere are many, many meals left to sample and will be back soon.

Found this place by chance on google maps and it was wonderful!! An excellent example of the classic pub — really friendly service going above and beyond for customers, excellent classic pub dishes with large portion sizes for good value. Happened to be there during Tuesday night jazz for an extra treat!
