Clyne Valley Country Park
Wonderful Park on the edge of Clyne Trail, boasts a windy slide, disk swing, assault coarse for little uns, and picnic bench for adults. Plenty of park land to play in, a few fruit tree at the right time of year and access through to clyne cycle path. You can spend 20 minutes to a few hours here. Has parking which does close between 5pm and 6pm. All free.

Clyne Valley Country Park
So beautiful - could be a walkers paradise but cyclists reign supreme. Walkers be prepared to fling yourselves into the bushes at every turn! I wish there were more paths walkers could enjoy without worrying about traffic! So disheartening to hear that the council is planning to tarmac more of this rare wilderness for cycling.

Clyne Valley Country Park
Lovely place for a walk with the family or place to take the dogs. There a a lot of cycle paths so you need to be aware of which path you are one. It is a mixture of gravel and tarmac so it's not all disabled friendly. They had a little coffee stall in the blackpill parking area too. Overall a nice place to go and there is free parking (when it's not so busy) by the pub next door called the Woodsmans Arms. Be careful as only a small part of that is free so check the signs.

Clyne Valley is the physical barrier separating the westward spread of Swansea from Gower AONB. It is an ancient woodland set in a deep incut valley. The old railway track is on NCN4 (National Cycle Network 4) which makes its way along the length of the South Wales Coast. The section of the bike path in Clyne takes you from Blackpill as it leaves Swansea Bay, and re emerges at Gowerton. Thereafter you can pedal on to Llanelli through the Loughor Estuary or continue north on a newly laid section. There are some lovely trails on either side of the main tarmaced path, for cross trail bikes and mountain bikes. I particularly like the semi paved section from Killay to Sketty Park.Lots of dog walkers and families, these are care and share paths. Do take careExcellent refreshment to be had at the Railway Tavern in Killay, which also provides one of the main access points along with Dunvant Square and the Rugby Club.
