Went to Steven James Bromley for a recall for a software update on a mini EV this vehicle also has a know EV charging flap problem documented on many sites, it shows the flap open on the dash when its closed. Most BMW franchises do this under goodwill but not here £198 to diagnose a common fault and that's to look at it. These franchises are just to get as much money from you as possible their not BMW the only true BMW site is Park Lane which are excellent as they are BMW. Had a full service for the first time here and turned out to be a nightmare. 1) car was not cleaned and additional grease marks left after the service 2) Interior lights stopped working and service team refused to acknowledge they are responsible for this 3) charged for repairing leaked tire (valve replacement) and they didn't fix it. Had a second visit and still not fixed. No reply received from the complaint department following an email sent.

I've been waiting months for an appointment with BMW Purley, my car is getting worse and they couldn't/wouldn't help. So I tried calling Stephen James BMW Bromley, they were polite, helpful, understood my concerns and did everything possible to book me in more quickly. So far I'm very impressed with there booking/phone service will update the review once my car has been to them.

Negative impact on my credit score for no reason . I had a payments plan for a warranty I paid through BMW Stephen James in London Bromley , warranty that was meant to start only in March 2024, in the meantime I decided I will be selling the car before the new warranty is set to kick in the car, so I have asked BMW to cancel my extended Warranty and after some poor customer service from BMW Bromley they have asked Bumper to refund me the payments I have made but instead Bumper have declared I have missed a payment and it is showing on my credit score, as silly as it sounds but I haven't even cancel my direct debit, didn't even touch anything at all, the problem it seems was created by BMW Bromley and the fact they cancelled the Car Care Plan without informing Bumper to cancel and fully refund me the payments made so far, they accepted to refund me in full but have failed to contact all relevant parties in time and at the same time which has created the problem I need to sort out. The issue is Car care Plan and Bumper cannot deal directly with me as the dealer is the one that sold me the warranty, but now Sean from BMW Bromley the customer service that I dealt with is ignoring my emails and doesn't get back to me to sort this out and rectify the credit score problem with Bumper . I wouldn't use their services again. Also on the day when I bought my car I drove the car home with a flat tyre, I assumed that the tyre sign on my dashboard was there because the car sat there for a few weeks , but it was actually a big screw in the tyre, and they stated the car was thoroughly checked , I have informed them but they once again couldn't be bothered.……In regards with the reply BMW have given to my post you can clearly see how ignorant they are , I have stated I cannot deal with Bumper or Car care plan directly as they told me is BMW that needs to contact them and not me , as BMW sold me the policy so once again that is the type of people you will deal with when you need something to be done by them , regarding the tyre problem your checks have failed to find the screw in the tyre or have just been ignored as they are run flat tyres you just couldn’t be bothered, my fault is that I didn’t stop to properly check the tyre but then again it was a rainy day . Just avoid if possible if not then make sure you check and double check, I wouldn’t trust main dealers anyway , you go and pay for a service and the service doesn’t get done but you get charged.

Nick was very thorough and took the time to review a few cars with us before we made our decision. Offered loan car when our car was not ready for collection.

Friendly staff, very efficient. I travel a distance to use their services as opposed to using my local branch. I recommend trying them
