Good selection of items, and friendly staff

Just moved into Presteigne and have been in this store multiple times.It's clean and the staff are friendly. I have a visible disability and rather than ignore me like I have been elsewhere, offers of help were appropriate and well received.Absolutely delighted that they stock our favourites, but they do need to up their game a bit on the dog food.My only real downer is the cost of bread, which as a staple in a town with no real alternatives for shopping could be used as a loss leader to mitigate costs of other items,The sense of humour and the friendliness of the staff has really made me feel welcome in a town where I am pretty much still a complete stranger.I'll be back as long as the welcome is this warm.

Great spar it’s better then premier

Order a magic bag from to good to go for £3.50 literally got 6 cheap sausages and a microwave pasta in white sauce so wasn't happy.

Got to love Presteigne spar

Last called there 3 weeks ago, used to call everyday. The way the pleb with the stupid bun on his head shouted at me to tell my they were apparently FULL as I walked through the door means they have lost a regular. Their loss not mine.

The shop is clean, crisp and a most welcome breath of fresh air in comparison to the premier down the road which is expensive and simply not up to scratch. I must however add that the lass behind the counter skaanked me of 4 quid. Next day I buy 2 ice cream, it not fresh, have melting residue on ice cream, 2 magnum 4 pound?! How I support local when I buy 2 ice they not so fresh. I not happy or impression.
