Won't be using again.Went with Fluent due to ease- I had got my first mortage off them. When they called to ask about remortgage, I decided to go with them.The process started in May and i still havent completed my remotgage. I have had people asking me for the same documentation OVER and OVER again. I was promised completion before the end of my term and instead they've cost me over £400.POOR

Dealt with these guys a few times now and superb to work with.App and site is super easy to use and upload the tons of documents that are sometimes required.I tried L&C and both attempts with them utter rubbish, slow, money fixated for them and complicated.Fluent should be the market leader, the process was is so unbelievably simple for such a delicate matter as mortgage/remortgage or any finances and the team here make the process a breeze.Special thanks to Jason and Katie, i know we are not over the line but regardless been a great experience.

We used Fluent in 2020 for a remortgage and the whole process was great. Fast forward to early 2023 and with our current mortgage deal due to expire later in the year we were happy when Fluent called to look at options.This time it was a disaster. From missing out on deals because they didn't move quick enough, lack of thorough communication between advisor, case manager, the lender and solicitor meant I had to repeat the same information multiple times to different people involved.Then we got sales calls and emails trying to sell us all sorts of other products and services which we never asked for or agreed to.Eventually we have walked away - as our existing lender is offering a better transfer deal than Fluent could arrange. They offered to help with the changeover. No chance - we will deal direct thanks for much less hassle.

Absolutely abysmal service. Promise the world, get all your details, process multiple applications which hammers your credit history then offers a low ball figure with sky high rates. AVOID!! “This is amount is a guaranteed number, don’t worry!” I asked for recordings of all the calls to report to the ombudsman and surprisingly, nothing was sent.

They seem efficient at first but very pushy. Constant phone calls during the working day when it is impossible for me to take a lengthy personal call. If you can’t answer they send aggressive text messages threatening to cancel the application. I explained I work full time and until late most days and evening calls or email is best. Eventually after missing a 10am call they sent an abrupt and rude text saying they had cancelled my application. Very bad customer service.

As a landlord I use brokers all the time. These are without doubt the worst I have encountered in 25 years. Twice I have reason to complain and asked for the case manager to be removed, twice they have ignored the request. These are a sample of some of the questions from the case manager:-Q- how long have you owned the propertyA- I don't, I am buying itQ- Aah OK, and have you got a tenant in at the moment?A - I have just told you I am buying itQ- Aah OK, and do you have an existing mortgage for the property.A- zzzxThey repeatedly ask for documents to be sent that you have already sent. They offer you solicitors and when you choose one they say you can't use them... beyond useless, rude and abrupt. One case manager can ruin the reputation of a whole firm.

Talked with adviser who said he call back the next day at agreed time, worked through dinner so i could be off at specified time, still waiting for call. Poor service .

No no no .Please avoid. They are charging a fortune for a very poor service. Clearly people who worked on my case were brainless. They were asking for references from my former Landlor and on the next occasion (fifth one) they asked who is he ? I could add 10 more examples that they are not the brightest bunch of people. But very pricey
