Painter, Tony Brodrick, is always so welcoming on visits to his beautiful gallery. The quality of the work is excellent and the Hay Loft Gallery is very well curated. There is something for everyone with a price-range to fit most pockets. You'll find everything from small ceramic items to large 3D mixed-media wall-hangings. Framed photographs of familiar local landmarks, to delicately stitched landscapes and eco-printed scarves bearing leaf prints.Support this wonderful business. It's situated in the courtyard of Strelley Hall alongside several other quality small art and craft business and the Mulberry Tree Cafe. It's also perfectly placed for taking a gentle stroll to Old Moor Wood and Holly Copse - look out for the deer, and between January and April, carpets of yellow lesser celandines, white anenomes and violet bluebells. They are magnificent!Access : there are about 7 steps on a steep staircase to enter the gallery space plus a couple more shallow steps in the exhibition area. These are due to it being an old building with a floors on slightly different levels. All other venues are on ground level and there is a large accessible toilet in the cafe.

A friend recommended the Hay Loft to me and I’m glad that they did. A much loved but very battered photo of my Grandfather’s regiment from the first war went in but a beautifully framed photo came. Thank you so much Tony. I would recommend you to anyone too.
