I would give 0 if I could. Careless sales assistants. We placed an order and booked carpet fittings. On the day we found out they never placed our order and never booked us in for fitting. I was waiting at home for nothing. The guy with glasses very arrogant and doesn't bother to help you or solve the issue they have caused. Really bad experience

If it could be -10 I would put that never in a million years will I ever use the Christchurch store again after ordering my mothers vinyl for her bathroom in June it eventually got laid end of august, item never ordered, item turned up to small, item turned up damage, fitter didn’t turn up, fitter turned up but underlay had not been order. After about seven attempts it eventually got laid. Communication was diabolical, as if my mother wasn’t stressed enough at 86 and just lost her husband they gave her £20 in compensation. What an insult, never again

Had a great experience at Carpetright. I needed a carpet ASAP and their assistant Paris helped us out! She helped us find a carpet that met our size requirements as well as our colour and thickness. Very good prices too. Thanks Paris!

Had the most lovely service from Clare today. A real asset to your company. She was knowledgeable, professional and charming throughout. She seemed to genuinely care.We were encouraged to take our time, feel the samples, take them to the window to see in the daylight. She also explained and demonstrated the underlays and offered enhanced services. She has booked us a surveyor to come and view the room later this month. Feeling quite confident we will go ahead based on our experience today.

After losing my father in September 2022 under horrific circumstances and mum being in hospital/ care since, their insurance company chose Carpetright to replace carpets in their home.Samples were sent and carpet chosen.A few wks before the fitting day, I receive a call to advise the chosen carpet is not suitable to use on stairs! They could fit it, but it wouldn't be guaranteed.I went into store and chose another carpet and booked again.Unfortunately, due to needing to go abroad for work, I had to cancel the 2nd appt. Nick was not pleased about this, but circumstances change when you work full time!Another appointment is booked for a few weeks later.May 2023.Fitters call en-route to check the old carpets had been removed as they were wet! (as told to them by Nick)The carpets had been cleaned by a bio hazard company in October 2022. This was unsuccessful, so the insurance company decided the carpets would need to be replaced. The carpets were very much dry!The fitters entered the property and flatly refused to take up and remove the old carpet even though it was in the contract and a fee had been charged to the insurance company to have the old carpet removed (as per Carpetrights T&C's).Nick told me the carpets would be returned to the factory as they had nowhere to store them at Christchurch.Another company removed the old carpets and underlay, which took them 1 hr!I called Nick to tell him they were gone and he said he would call back with a new fitting date.No call!Chasing him again I asked if a vinyl could be fitted at the same time.Nick told me to choose one and he would call me back to take the order and check stock in 4 days.No call!I chased him up, ordered the vinyl, paid for it and booked in ALL fittings together, carpets and vinyl, for early September to be fitted by Tom who can fit them all together. Nick advised that the lounge carpet had a stain damage from being 'stored in the warehouse for so long!'Nick advised me it may not be visible when fitted as the carpets are cut larger than needed so it might be cut off. If not, he would arrange for it to be cleaned.31st Aug, a confirmation email for the fitting date.On the fitting day, lovely Tom comes in to say he is fitting a vinyl but knows nothing about carpets being fitted!!!After an hour or more of him chasing Nursling and Christchurch, they eventually find the carpets are being stored in Christchurch but no fitting date has been scheduled for them.Tom ever so kindly rearranges his work in order to come the next day and fit the carpets. The next day, I receive a call from a salesperson who has been left to deal with a number of issues (caused by Nick) telling me that they can not find the lounge carpet!!!!All other carpets are there but not the lounge!Nick, meanwhile, is enjoying a wine on a sunbed in France for 2 weeks! Not only did he not book the carpets for fitting with the vinyl, he's now either sold the lounge carpet, or sent it somewhere never to be seen again!!!!The deputy store manager has fast tracked an order to get a replacement within a week (w/c 18th September) and will then arrange yet another fitting day!Not only have I had the loss of my father, caring for my mother in her time of grief and rehabilitation, as well as deal with getting my parents home in a state that she could live in again, I have had to deal with being let down by Nick!November 2022 this whole saga started! As compensation, I have been advised we are getting a better standard underlay.Maybe that should go on top of the carpet if it is that good!Hats off to the staff dealing with Nick's blunders both at the store and the sub contractors, they deserve a bonus.I will never do business with Carpetright again and would certainly not recommend the Christchurch branch while Nick remains the manager.Carpetright? Shouldn't that be 'Christchurch Carpetwrong'?

unbelievably difficult if not impossible to get hold of. Been phoning for 2 weeks and no-one gets back to us, trying to reach as unable to place an order via the quote number (details don't match" or something). Finally

Recently this store has been through the blender! However, I called today after again having to chase for our carpets.. turns out my lovely wife went into store as well as she's also annoyed by all this.. She came back slightly happier saying that there's another manager in to help get everything sorted out..Fair play, this is way overdue but my biggest question is - where's Nick? Apparently off on holiday somewhere leaving his store in flames!

Absolutely shocking and shambolic experience. Delays and delays, different people telling me different things, rude manager (Leah), fitters not turning up, then turning up at 8.30pm at night, laying the carpet poorly, damaging a newly painted wall, not hoovering up afterwards (their website said they do!) putting in the wrong coloured rails (we wanted gold, we got silver) not finishing the front door mat, then when they returned to do it (again late at night) it now it bubbled up so the door doesn’t open properly. The only redeeming thing was the initial salesperson Paris was sweet, but mainly a disaster from start to end. Still waiting over 6 weeks later for a response to my complaint

After being homeless for many months we finally got our new home, wanting to have it cosy ready for Christmas we decided to get carpets in our bedrooms. One we chose for our sons room was out of stock for quite sometime and we met with Darren from the Christchurch store to discuss alternative options, Darren was absolutely wonderful, so helpful in choosing our sons carpet. He's an asset to this company and we shall be returning in the new year to choose and purchase flooring for the rest of our home. Such a lovely man! Thank you!

Dropped in for some help on costs on a new carpet. Was able to check out the carpets on offerand look at the samples. We were able to get the info we needed in a covid secure manner to analyse.
