Pub has lot of historical detail which hits you as you walk in. Service excellent from very professional experienced staff with lots of humour which you come to expect in Liverpool. Food and drink first class and great value. A must to visit

Popped in, and it was a delight I wasn't expecting! Had the game on, choice of beers were superb, like a mini Ship and Mitre! 3 hand pulls and a decent selection of bottled German beers. I've been in most pubs in the area, and I'd say this is by far the best to go in for choice, atmosphere, etc

Superb pub. Great choice of beers and casks/real ales. Reasonably priced even for the Erdinger. Friendly and happy barstaff. Worth checking out the music events but worth calling in anytime
