Shrewsbury Valor Precision Combat Hybrid Martial Arts Club

I have been with Valor Precision Combat for quite some time now having been a member of other martial arts club previously. The fact that I still train with Valor Precision Combat is testimony in itself.The training and instruction is spot on. My children are club members and the instruction for both adults and children is excellent.The lessons are well taught and explained and are both challenging and rewarding. I always come away from a lesson with a sense of accomplishment. If I could sum up the club in four words it would be great training

A really friendly club. The instructors are supportive, knowledgeable, friendly and really great at building confidence, especially with older learners like me. Highly recommended!

Great Martial Arts Club! Fantastic for children and adults!

I have trained with Valor for some months now, after taking a very long hiatus from training in martial arts. Shrewsbury's Valor Precision Combat is a tight-knit and well run club, with instructor Steve, guiding us through a combination of strikes, counters, locks, takedowns and Filipino weaponry.There are classes available for both children and adults. I actually enjoyed my first month's training so much, I introduced my nephews to the club and although like any kid, they're both rowdy, Steve ensures all children are well disciplined and respectful.The adult's (over 16s) class has a smaller number of students most evenings due to life's many commitments, this often allows for a greater in depth instruction as to technique and justifications. The children's (under-16s) class is very popular, and I've personally noticed a change in how my nephews behave since their training began - They're happier, more rounded and have purpose.The club currently runs on Thursday evenings (in Shrewsbury), with 18:00-19:00 being for under-16s and 19:00-20:00 being for over-16s. At the time of writing, I believe the plan is to also add Tuesday evenings, with the option to train at their other local combat clubs.Hope this helps you make an informed decision,I'll see you on the mat.
