Barry was an excellent instructor, he was very accommodating and constructive in his advice. He says it how it is which is exactly what you want when you need to know what to improve. I passed first time with only 3 minors and I can't thank Barry enough for his guidance. Top instructor with a top fully electric vehicle that is a dream to drive!

Yesterday I passed my test, first time, with zero minors.I’ve had driving lessons on and off for the past 26 years in both Worthing & London, in both manual & automatic cars, with a total of 6 different instructors. Until now I have been an extremely nervous driver, and have lacked confidence on the road & belief in myself.I was determined not to give up, and that’s when I found Barry at Be Wise on Google, and read all his incredible reviews. I felt very hopeful that he would be the one to finally get me through the test, and I knew from the moment I met him that he took his job very seriously.Barry is methodical, he is thorough, he teaches using repetition, diagrams and solid explanation. He takes the time to explain how and why, so that the information stays in your brain. He builds your confidence slowly, so that you never feel overwhelmed. His style of teaching is very clever, I told him he is more like a driving psychologist!The lessons are brilliant, fun, interesting and you learn so much that it’s impossible to fail. The lessons are harder than the test, Barry is very switched on and doesn’t miss a trick! He helps you to perfect your driving skills so that you drive confidently & smoothly, with great precision & knowledge of the car & the roads.Barry does not ask for a review after the first lesson like many instructors… he waits until the end, because he wants the client to be fully satisfied with the whole service. I had exactly 40 hours and not once was Barry late, nor did he ever cancel a lesson. His car is a dream to drive, it’s fully electric & automatic.I can’t thank Barry enough. I never thought I would do it or could do it, and Barry has changed all that. This result will completely change my life and I have Barry to thank for getting me through.I will now be booking pass plus with Barry so that I can master the motorways & country roads, I can’t wait to learn more things & build my confidence even more!

I have just passed my driving test in the first time today with Barry. Before I couldn't imagine that I could pass the test in first time. Be Wise driving school just made my dream come true. I would say he is the best instructor I have ever met. He is a strictly responsible instructor. He is also very patient and suggests me to watch more videos to build up the knowledge. He didn't shout that's another very good thing. He allows you to make mistakes and help you to fix the issues and let you remember them. In words I would give him 10 stars if I could.

I would really recommend Barry, he’s an excellent instructor. He’s strict and tough but I learnt so much from him. He made me feel calm and at ease during my lessons, allowing me to work towards my goals and areas to improve on. He was very good at giving constructive feedback. Another thing I liked about driving with Barry which helped build my skills and confidence is that he was open to suggestions and trying different approaches in practicing some of the manoeuvres - to see which works best for me etc. I passed today with one minor, I couldn’t have done it without Barry!

Barry is a fantastic, no-nonsence instructor, who made me work hard and also helped me navigate my worst fears (roundabouts & sliproads!) in a very supportive manner. Barry has regularly provided constructive feedback and spoke about real life" examples which turned me in to a confident driver. Thanks to him

Barry is a great instructor. He’s patient, understanding but very thorough and will not only make sure you pass your test but also that you’re confident with your driving skills. I had driving anxiety with my last instructor which put me off doing lessons. My first lesson with Barry, he listened to all my concerns and needs and since then he has made sure I overcome the anxiety. He made me enjoy and look forward to my lessons! He has many years of experience and knows what he’s talking about.I passed first time today and owe it all to Be Wise driving school! I would 100% recommend.

I would highly recommend Barry as a driving instructor for learning Automatic. Throughout my lessons, I became a much more confident and competent driver and this helped me to pass my test first-time. He will teach you defensive driving and will ensure that you can drive to a high standard so that you're definitely ready for your test. He was very knowledgeable, always patient and calm with this teaching and always provided firm but fair feedback.

Barry is a highly informative and brilliant driving instructor who would instil confidence even to the most nervous of drivers.I would highly recommend him whether it be a first time driver or someone needing a refresher course.
