Pets at Home Irvine

Went to exchange dog jumper that was too big for my dog. Man was very helpful + jumper was exchanged , also bought 2 more .

Well stocked, well laid out, big choice. Pleasant helpful staff.

Our little madam Rika had her first pamper here today - she has come home laid back, relaxed and happy. Was worried as we knew she does not like hairdryers. Thank you or a job well done

I start to dislike Pets at Home, they have been great in the past, but they start to having less and less of products and they start to get it only in big boxes that you are unable to mix things on your own. I have some that my cat likes and some he doesn't eat at all, so it's for me a waste of money to buy the box. So I only get the packs or tins he eats. Same with some litter,they don't get the product anymore, and when you ask, they don't know why they don't get it anymore. I contacted the company of the product, and they still make this product, as said, if they don't order, they don't get it.So I actually started to order online at a different shop. There, I still get the tins and pouches I want, and some products are even less pricy.So it's really a shame that they changed this much.The staff is the only thing that has not changed, they are always friendly and helpful. Thank you.

This shop in Irvine is one of the bigger stores. Well stocked ground floor area with the usual small animal section in the centre and well marked ceiling flags for every other section. The store is host to a separate franchise Vetinary Care practice. This is situated on the first floor.Wheelchair access is by lift, which on the day of my visit 31/01/2022 was obstructed by cleaning materials see photo. The door already ‘disguised’ by posters opens by pulling outwards on hinges. Hard enough at the best of times but near impossible when holding a pet on your lap and propelling a chair obstructed by mood and buckets and large sign urging you to take care!Really? In 2022 shocking customer service and care and even worse staff training. Managers take note.

Staff are always on hand to help find products. Layout is good, although treats I had previously bought were right down at the end of the shop, not where they were before, but a staff member found them. Always use my vouchers and click and collect service is excellent.

Love coming to Pets at Home in Irvine to get treats for the fur babies. Fergus loves picking out his treats and toys and today he got to see a rabbit for the first time!The staff are always amazing and show him so much love!
