Excellent, friendly service. Food was also of a very good standard and plenty of it. Menu had a better than usual (for a pub!) range of choices.

Very nice pub with excellent food and service! I was lucky enough to eat there two days running in their large beer garden - first visit had the fish pie which was sublime! The Following day was Sunday so had their roast lamb - it was one of the best pub roasts I’ve ever had and I’ve had a few! The staff were all very pleasant with actual personalities not the and efficient and the loos were spotless. I would highly recommend and can’t wait to return.

Booked for my partners birthday....been years ago he always loved their mixed grill, which is only on the specials menu so I asked the chances of it being available when we'd booed for and the y said it'll probably be on the menu....it wasn't! But we mentioned it when we arrived and they made it specially for him! The staff are lovely, very friendly, the food was amazing and the atmosphere was buzzing.....it is a little gem would recommend to anyone

My wife and I recently dined at the Dukes Head Pub, and it was an extraordinary culinary experience from start to finish. We both chose the roast lamb as our main course, and it was cooked to perfection. The tenderness of the meat and the rich flavors left us craving for more.For dessert, we indulged in a delightful assortment of sweet treats. The sticky toffee pudding was a heavenly concoction of warm, moist cake drenched in luscious toffee sauce, and it was a delightful way to end our meal.The treacle tart was a nostalgic and comforting dessert, with its sweet and gooey filling encased in a crisp pastry shell. It brought back memories of homemade treats from our childhood.Last but not least, the Banoffee pie was a revelation. The combination of creamy toffee, fresh bananas, and a buttery crust was a symphony of flavors and textures that danced on our taste buds.The service was impeccable, and the cozy ambiance of the pub added to the overall charm of our dining experience. We left with full hearts and satisfied palates, and we can't wait to return to the Dukes Head Pub for more culinary adventures. If you're looking for a memorable meal, this place is an absolute must-visit.

Really good food and super friendly staff. The main meals are big portions and deserve the price tag (about £15), but lunch menu feels a bit over priced for what you get (£9 for halloumi in a bun with a little pot of coleslaw). Excellent chips both skinny and chunky.

Good food and very good value for money and would put a few local gastro pubs who charge a fortune to shame. Staff and service was happy, friendly and very good. A definate go to again in the future.
