The Cinema in The Power Station
A really lovely experience at the cinema. The staff went out of their way to find some hot milk for my little one and the cinema itself was incredibly comfortable. Reclining seats! Totally recommend.

Despite the sound and screen quality being great, unfortunately we were left a little disappointed after visiting the cinema in the power station. The website promises “sumptuous reclining seats” however the seats barely recline and don’t stay in the reclined position. They are also not what I would describe as “sumptuous”.There is a nice selection of drinks and wine, but they are not cold and they do not provide wine glasses. The popcorn is not fresh and contained in large bags which means you get a lot of crumbled popcorn in your box.If you want to sit and have a drink before you enter the cinema, there are only about 5 chairs available, so it’s not very comfortable. Most of these things could be improved quite easily and I think would make the experience much more pleasant.

Love this cinema! New and fresh. Large armchairs that recline. Little tables in between the seats for your drinks/popcorn. Booster seats for children. Plenty of space to stretch out and for people to pass you without having to stand up or turn your legs at an awkward angle. Really nice looking bar at the entrance but was at a children’s film midday so didn’t have the opportunity to try it. Clean toilets, friendly staff and you get 4 hours of free parking in the power station. You just need to get your ticket validated at the ticket desk.

ok, but... the theatre is less stylish and the seats less comfortable than most people will be accustomed to from alternatives (everyman, curzon) at this price point. i do not understand what is going on with the bar area in the reception which was completely closed while customers who arrived early had to huddle in the lobby or just kill time outside.

I made an enquiry about a film and whether I would be able to still get inside should I be 5-10 minutes late to arrive. Eventually I did not watch that film however the member of staff advised me was so kind and he communicated so effectively that I find commendable in any case.

An absolutely thrilling experience viewing a re-run of Top Gun Maverick in Dolby Cinema. I believe it’s the first independent Dolby Cinema site in the world! Amazing. The venue has the privilege of being located inside the wonderfully restored Battersea Power Station. I have visited their boutique cinema in the Arches at the complex and I have always been a fan of their cinemas but the newly opened Dolby Cinema is pure magic. The sound is absolutely out of this world and the picture is stunning. I can compare this to the Dolby Cinema Odeon in Leicester Square and this venue beats it hands down. Far better seats ensuring a brilliant view even for shorter customers. Amazingly dark so you can really experience the contrast visually and totally immersive and clean sound that makes you feel the audio but doesn't deafen you.Five out of five stars seems stingy to be honest. I just wish I could give it more. I left this beautiful venue last night with a grin on my face! We will be seeing Avatar in 3D tomorrow. Bring it on!

It's great to see a Dolby Cinema in the south of London, an independent one as well. The entire presentation of the cinema is great and ticket prices are competive (on weekdays excluding Friday before 5pm), but of course the best area is screen one, the Dolby Cinema. The surround sound and laser projection are top of their class and the sound is well tuned, being much less deafening then the Odeon Dolby Cinema in the West End while still retaining the surround positioning Dolby Atmos is known for. At first I was concerned of the red accent colour of the room but it turned out to not be as noticeable once all lights were off. While you do miss out on fully reclining chairs compared to Odeon's Dolby Cinemas, this is still a very good cinema and by far the best in its area.Overall very happy to see a new high quality Dolby Cinema open up in London and will definitely visit again.

It's just a short walk for us, so we decided to give it a try. It's very nice, boutique style cinema. Screen wasn't huge but seats, customer service, sound system was excellent. The popcorn wasn't as fresh as it could have been but it comes in one size only. Totally loved it. Definitely will be going back. The price is also reasonable for the experience you get compared to big cinema chains, which offer less comfort and not an adequate sound system compared.

I went to The Cinema in The Power Station to watch Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny. It was a great experience of Dolby Cinema, good quality video and audio, comfortable seat, good ambience with good ventilation and lighting.Hint:You can enjoy happy hour drinks at the lounge ~ Members Club. A private members’ bar and restaurant open to public until 7th September 2023.

Screen 1 here is good.Pretty cosy seats, great screen with latest sound and vision. The snacks and drinks section is a bit underwhelming for this location, I expected and wanted more variety and choice. There is nothing warm to eat at all.
