I went for a senior stylist this time; Zena. This is the first time I had her as my hairdresser and it was the most AWFUL EXPERIENCE because;1) She burnt my scalp with the hair dryer and was extremely rough with combing. At one point I screamed. My head is still sore from the way she was ferociously tugging at it. When I asked her to stop, she questioned as to how else she is supposed to blow dry my hair. Incredibly rude woman.2) Most of the haircut was uneven around my face and she was planning on leaving it like that but i insisted she redo it.3) She went shorter than what I told asked for because she rushed the consultation. She also hadn’t softened the bottom of the cut. I then had to ask her to take the weight out of the bottom because she was planning to leave it a heavy mess.At the end of the haircut, she said; “if you don’t like it, you can just tie it up”.This hairdresser did an awful job and combined with her obnoxious personality and the pain she caused me, she should not be allowed to cause other clients such pain and distress.

I have been coming here for years now and couldn’t rate this place more highly. Claire always does an outstanding job, beautiful colour and cut which is always exactly as I want it. The salon is classy and always has amazing fresh flowers at the front desk, it’s things like this and all the lovely professional staff that really make the difference to your experience. Book here! You won’t regret it.

Revisited this salon after many years. Great experience. Molly Mae did my cut and blow dry and I was really pleased with the result. I no longer look like Freddie Boswell! Salon is really clean and modern and all the staff seemed very professional.

A very positive experience all round. As for face masks absolutely bang on. Keep your customers safe! If anyone is unable to wear a mask it's not a reason to take offence, be happy that you and others are doing your bit to stay safe. I had my hair done in the upstairs VIP room simply because they were maintaining a safe distance seating. Very happy with my hair cut and colour thank you Zena.

Emma is the most professional, experienced and competent therapist.I have just left the salon and feel completely pampered.I always get my hair done here and now will be getting my beauty here too!Would highly recommend!

Tonic is a fantastic! The staff are all so friendly and the salon itself is lovely.I’m so relieved they are keeping the mask wearing and hand sanitation going, as it makes me feel safer and shows how much they care about their staff and clients.I actually switched to this salon a year ago, because they took such good care of everyone.Keep on doing what you do Tonic - your regulars love you!!!

Always a good hair cut by Derek and good service by all the team.

I had an amazing experience. All the staff were so friendly and welcoming. I went there to correct my hair because I was recommended by someone. A week before my appointment another salon gave me the most awful haircut I have ever experienced in my life - cutting chunks out of my hair. This resulted in me tying my hair up all week, because I was unable to wear it down. I didn’t think it was possible to correct my hair at all or without cutting my hair extremely short. However, Derek provided me with an in depth consultation along with other members of staff who were all so friendly and attentive. The end result was amazing, I walked out with a fantastic haircut and a smile on my face. Thank you to team.
