Mexican Cuisine | Cavita Restaurant | England | Cavita Restaurant is truly a heritage Mexican cuisine experience. Cavita encompasses food traditions from all over Mexico, from the capital, to Oaxaca and the Yucatan Peninsula. The 70-cover restaurant has an open fire kitchen at its core, with reclaimed granite tables for couples and smaller groups, as well as communal dining available at the chef's table. Downstairs sits the hidden mezcaleria, Mayahuel, a beautiful atmospheric cocktail and mezcal bar and a wonderful spot to enjoy our drinks.

Just all round good experience.We went on a Sunday evening so it wasn’t too busy but still some atmosphere. Fast, friendly and attentive service and the food was fantastic. We ended up eating fat more than we intended to just to try more of the menu.Highly recommend

Delicious food journey, perfect amount of spice that warms you up from the inside out. The spicy margarita was so refreshing and the tequila so smooth that you don’t taste it but you feel it. Would love to return to try the tacos or mole! John provided excellent service, thank you.

Cavita is the restaurant with the most authentic flavours of Mexican food that I have ever tasted.They have a delicious spicy margarita and a great variety of mezcal.The atmosphere is super versatile, you can have a amazing romantic date or a full family dinner.

Lovely and fun ambiance, well-managed restaurant. The staff were very attentive and quick. Andrea at the reception was fabulous. First time for me to book via The Fork app but not very user-friendly app. Andrea was so helpful and accommodating and sorted us out that night. Food was good and appealing, appetising. Catchy drinks too.

Such a great night here, amazing food and (dangerously) good mezcal and cocktails to complement. Lucky enough to meet Adriana Cavita and you can immediately feel her passion for sharing her country’s amazing food and styles. Top night; will be back soon.

My favourite restaurant in London at the moment. The food was amazing. Nice seafood options. Very fresh produce.The decor in the restaurant felt like I got sent to a free holiday to Mexico. Staff were very welcoming and informative.Cocktails and digestifs were excellent.I’ll be back soon again and will recommend to all of my friends.

Gorgeous venue, unpleasant service, average food. An incomprehensible menu and the waitress was in such a rush she barely explained anything or answered our questions. Interesting flavour, but didn’t quite deliver to our expectation or leave a memorable impression. Price not value for money. The same sauces and garnishes are used across all dishes so it became a bit dull.We didn’t appreciate being reminded three times throughout dinner that we had to vacate the table by a certain time - it’s written on the reservation confirmation and you’ve told us upon arrival, we get it. I won’t be returning or recommending.

I’m a bit disappointed as I came here last year and food was much better. This time I brought my family to try it and it’s not the same. All the seafood we ate except the sea-bass has a fishy taste like it was not fresh. We ordered the Chutoro Tostada, the soft crab tacos and the prawns from the grilled prawns. All tasted fishy. The soft shell tacos had alot of sauce so it covered the taste a bit. the sea-bass was great. The Chicken was okay. The Mexican rice was yummy. Love the vibes and seevice was great
