Awaiting delivery but service good as it stands

Ring up to get a quote/measurement for 2 metal side gates. Was assured someone would call me back. Never heard another word so took my business elsewhere. Dreadful way to run a company. A female answered the phone and I remember thinking at the time that she appeared to be taking down my details rather quickly, in other words not all. No intention of ever contacting me I believe.

I tried to order some fence panels, spoke to someone at Jackson's no online chat who advised that If I placed the order today, the panels would be here by end of the following week at the latest. Asked about delivery cost and was advised £45.00, when I added it to my basket and put in the postcode, it was actually £21.00.Went to process the order - entered the discount code that was advertised on the website, but there was a fault with their website so It wouldn't recognise it. Spoke on the online chat again, to be told it didn't seem to be working and that I could only get the discount if I rang up, which I couldn't do at the time and then was advised that the fencing wouldn't come for 2-3 weeks as they didn't have it in stock?! Incorrect advise and a non fully working website which is frustrating - the order has now been placed elsewhere.

THRILLEDHaving taken delivery of a new side gate and wall post. The gate is better then my expectations, there are protection strips of wood on the two main sides (nice touch). The brackets look so strong and being already fitted makes my life easier. The remaining accessories were in a strong nylon bag with instructions. The delivery guy was polite, friendly and professional.I genuinely could not be happier with my purchase. I 100% recommend Jackson's Fencing.

The person in the reception was one of the rudest people I have encountered. They came highly recommended, but after the way I was spoken to today, I'd say go elsewhere for your fencing needs.

Excellent company with good response times and sensible lead in times for materials. Highly recommend.Always best quality timber products. Jacksons are specified by a lot of Landscape Architects due to their 25 year treatment process.

Top quality products fence definitely looks good

We’ve just had some gates fitted by a contractor that were supplied by Jackson’s fencing. The gates look lovely but I needed to fill in some gaps between the new gates and the old wall, so I ordered some fencing from Jackson’s, so it would match the gates.I clearly explained what I needed over the phone, paid for it and then waited the six weeks delivery time for it to arrive. The week before I called to check it was still coming as I’d had no correspondence from them since payment. They then sent confirmation of the order (with the wrong name on it) and told me it would be a week late.Slightly annoying but overall fine at this stage.When it did arrive it was the wrong stuff. So I rang Jackson’s only to be told I’d have to wait a further 8 weeks for the correct fencing to be delivered. On top of that I would have to pay again up front and only get refunded for the wrong fencing when it was collected.Poor customer service in my opinion. After their mistake I would of thought they would of been more helpful. If I could be bothered to proceed with it I would of had to not only have waited 3 months for the correct order, but had to pay twice as well.Gave up on the phone in the end to save my stress levels. Will Chuck the wrong order in the bin and buy elsewhere. Total waste of £100

Similar experience to some of the other reveiwers. Estimated delivery date is very hit and miss, they will calculate the number of panels, posts etc but do check yourself as we assumed they had got it right but we ended up with too many posts and pales and effectively you are stuck with them as the return costs are prohibitive. The panels etc seem good, they are much more expensive than other suppliers, just the back office is a grind.
