At last we are able to share our beautiful staircase which was lovingly restored by Rob. Now a new carpet has been installed which has enhanced the beautiful work on the rails and newels . Friendly, professional and such a perfect workmanship has been created by Rob . Thank you and so sorry this has taken an age to write.

My wife and I were delighted with the work Robert did to the Edwardian mahogany banisters and newel-posts at our house. This time last week, the woodwork was dull, mottled and stained; today - after Robert's meticulous and painstaking work, everything has a deep sheen and rich colour. All in all, it was a pleasure to deal with the company; Alison, who handles the admin side of the business, was extremely helpful and responded to enquiries promptly and fully. I highly recommend this company.

We have been delighted at the wonderful work Rob has done on our Victorian Walnut dining table…it looks stunning and with this workmanship why would anyone by new?! The service has been first class and it has been a joy to deal with Rob and Alison who clearly are wood fanatics and passionate about their craft and material. Robert has restored a Victorian table which was recovered from my sons late fathers house in a very poor state. Now they have an heirloom to be proud off. Very very pleased with the result

Rob came to the rescue when our rare and bespoke colour dining table was damaged during our house move.What can I say? The table top is better than when it was new and considering how scratched/marred and patchy the finish was - it’s nothing short of a miracle.Excellent communication throughout the process and a very careful and considered redelivery on completion.We now have our table back but a better more hard wearing and usable version.Thank you Rob and Alison.

Working on behalf of a high-profile land and property developer I needed to source a good french polisher to make repairs to a hard wood boardroom table and cabinet that had been damaged in a break-in. Robert came along and took the cabinet off site and repaired the scratches on the boardroom table on site as too large to take away. Robert did a really excellent job - so much so, that a colleague requested he work on a personal item of furniture on the same day, and we also decided to get more of our boardroom furniture french polished by Rob as we were so pleased with the results.Alison and Rob are a great team and the work that is produced shows that Rob is a perfectionist at what he does and takes a real pride in his work.I would highly recommend this company.

Fabulous service from these guys today.Heavily water damaged wooden floor plank which ruined the overall look of our hallway floor, repaired and made good on site and in the space of a morning. Highly recommended.

Very pleased with the sensitive restoration of an inherited mid century sideboard. Damage from 60 years in a south facing window, and accident with a bottle of cooking oil all restored, and a discrete more forgiving finish applied.

Very professional service. Handed over a dining table and chairs that were my parents, purchased just at the end of W.W.2 and was used daily and also as a roadway for Dinky Toy cars !! Rob collected my damaged Cherry Dining Table that I’d owned for 40 years. The table was badly scratch and looked in a poor way His knowledge; skill and extensive experience was clearly apparent when he returned the table back to my home.The finish is breathtaking - with a deep laquer the shows the beautiful wood grain underneath.
