Beach is quiet and good for walks, but water is not good bathing quality.

We came here as the traffic into Hunstanton was at a standstill. We were able to park (£6 for all day), there were public toilets and a cafe, and the beach was quiet. However, there wasn't any sand suitable to build sandcastles, it's very pebbly, then goes to squelchy mud when the tide goes out. The sea quality was poor, so didn't even want to paddle in it. There was also a strong smell of weed in several areas.

There are so many different (and decent) beaches on this part of the Norfolk coast. We were staying in the Parkdean caravan park around the corner (3 minute walk) so got to enjoy this particular beach on most days of our week stay.Fairly quiet and clean - this was a beach to enjoy in the evening with the tide coming in and the beautiful setting sun. Dune-jumping was a favourite amongst the younger (and slightly older) ones too :-)Recommend a visit :-)

The beach had receded n we were left with only a small cess pool to enjoy. It was sad

Beautiful and not overcrowded beach. Dog friendly and beautiful views! Definitely visiting again! It has a pay parking but right in front of the beach entrance and there is a local dine place which is run by a family and has the most delicious fish and chips I have eaten and is dog friendly too which is just great. It has also public toilets near pay station at the parking.Easy access with wheelchair and at the entrance to the beach is a bench where you can sit and enjoy the views if you cant go forward or feel tired.People here are like from different planet : super friendly and polite (anyone we pass by or talked)

Had a lovely, long, peaceful walk with my dog. There is a path walking by cute beach huts. A nice cafe by the small car park. Please note: take coins or you have to register your bank card on an app. I only had my phone, no cash or bank card. Fortunately, a young couple paid for my parking, and I transferred them the amount. Without them I couldn't stay.

A fabulous place to visit day or night, Spring, Summer, Autumn or Winter ♥️. This beach is dog friendly all year round and our two Labradors love it there. It’s also clean with very little litter although the sea can look muddy at times when the mud gets washed ashore. There are always birds on the beach and as you can see from my photos the sunsets there are amazing. In the holiday season there are usually people standing, watching in awe, taking photos with their phones or cameras as the sun sets over the sea- one of the few places you can see this on the East coast.
