I left my car with MotorServ late Feb 2023. There was a gear box malfunction.They did not return it back to me till Jul 2023. During all this time, I had repeatedly enquired about progress with the car. I was repeatedly fobbed off with assurances that my car would be fixed the following week. The bill amounted to £3100.I got my car back, finally, in Jul 2023. I was driving the car sparingly, but could hear little noises from the suspension.Within driving less than 100 miles since getting the car back, something broken in the front suspension, and I could hear knocking sounds.Called them back, and was told that someone would take the car next week Wed. Someone from MotorServ came on Wed, took my car, and left their car on my drive way. I was told on Wed that the car needed a new coil spring and wheel alignment for £800.I told them that I suspected this fault was due to their shoddy workmanship and that I was not going to pay for the repair.They offered to fix the coil spring (one side only) free of charge, and deliver by Fri. without admitting liability. I agreed.Friday came and went. No car.Every day I would call and would be given excuses that I would have my car the next day.Finally, today their driver showed up wanting their own car back, without delivering my car. I told them they could have their car back when they bring mine back.At this, they took offence and told me that they will not MOT my car (which they said it was awaiting) and that they will leave their car on my drive way.At this point, I decided that I would rather have my car back immediately, than leave it with them for the MOT, lest they damage it out of spite.In the past, they once left a can of paint I had in the car on the back seat without warning me that they had done that. The can of paint flew off the back seat covering the entire rear cabin in paint.Initially, they didn't want to deal with it. Eventually, after haranguing them, they agreed to clean the car up.They have a couple of preset excuses that they use to fob you off.Either someone is off sick, or they are short-staffed, or they are very busy.All in all, they have had my car in their workshop for SIX months nearly.Even a 1 star is too much. They deserve 0 stars.

My Wife took her car in for some Diagnostic work and the service she received didn't meet expectations. After diagnosing the fault which is what they were paid to do so 1 extra star for that we were told it required a part and they would get us a price. We collected the car as It couldn't be done the same day and was told it's parked outside somewhere. After 5 mins of searching in the rain and the dark my wife eventually located the car - Just not good customer service. The next day we called in twice for a price on the required part and got told they will call us back - No call back. On to day 3 and we called them again twice and again got told they will call back - No call back. On to day 4 we were met with more of the same. I eventually gave up and took the car to another garage in the area. They got the required part booked us in and fitted it all within 24hrs of us contacting them. Still haven't heard back from this garage and we now into day 5 - Waste of time take your business elsewhere.

My dad used this service and overall an absolutely terrible service. He had to send his car back 13 times, spending lots of money in total. He eventually went to the Merc garage and they told him MotorServ had just oiled over the brake pads instead of replacing them properly. Such a bad service, do not recommend at all.

AVOIDI took my car for an MOT & Service, they advised I needed a new tyre which I agreed for them to change, altogether cost me around £400.I picked my car up and a light showed on my dash ‘Type Pressure Sensor Malfunction’ (on the same tyre they changed).I called up and they confirmed I could take my car back and they would sort it for me. I picked my car up again and the light come back on. I ended up taking my car to them back 3 TIMES!!The second time I was told I would have to pay £80 for it to be repaired, even though they caused the damage??I then spoke to another guy who admitted I didn’t need to pay as it was their fault - yet they still couldn’t fix it, as the light came back on.After the 3rd time of taking my car back to them and their incapability of fixing such a small issue, I was fed up and I took it to another garage.The other garage actually laughed when I told them I had my car service & MOT done by Motorserv and asked what did I expect - (embarrassing).They also told me a few stories of other customers having problems.This other garage fixed the fault by replacing the sensor at a small cost of £25 and it took literally 5 minutes to do.I’ve had no problems with it since.I’ve definitely learnt my lesson in taking my car to Motorserv, very poor quality and extreme lack of knowledge.

Bought a car:From start to finish, the service we received was outstanding. Nothing was too much trouble. Ahsan was very friendly and helpful. We received quick and easy communication. The car is in good condition, well looked after and all minor issues the car had were resolved before collection. The additional touches, that went above and beyond the normal level of service, were much appreciated. Overall a great experience, would highly recommend.

DON'T GO THERE!!! THE LAST PLACE I WOULD TAKE MY CAR!!Manager is rude with no customer service skills. Paid nearly £300 for a service and no issues with my car to getting my car back with a damaged wing mirror. They say it's a motor issue". Funny how there was no issues with the motor before I gave my car in and there was when I got it back.Reported it the next day and was told to come back the day after.I phoned later on the 2nd day and was told I didn't report the issue within 48 hours (even though it was done within 24 hours) and even had the cheek to offer to fix the damage they caused at "cost price".I was happy with the service of the vehicle provided. The 1 star is for the attitude of the manager Arfan.A lot more happened during my visits but too much to type in here but I have a logged detail of my experience.I did have more work to be done with this car and with another but due to the managers bad attitude

After my car failed the MOT, MotorServ managed to quickly get the required parts (only available from main dealers) and fit them in time so as not to leave me without an MOT on my car for too long. Used them in the past 2-3 years for MOTs, service and repairs and they've always done a great job on my cars, including looking after them while they are in the workshop. Will continue using them in the future! Thanks MotorServ.
