Surfing Croyde Bay

Massive thanks to the instructors at Surfing Croyde Bay, particularly Joe and Bo. They are all excellent and taught our family of five total beginners loads over the week with enthusiasm, skill and fun. Cannot recommend them highly enough, we’ll be back next summer!

My 8 and 11 years olds thoroughly enjoyed their first week surfing with Surfing Croyde Bay. The instructors we had: Joe, max, Maddie and Jake are all very professional and supportive. Facilities are very clean and convenient, with a nice bar and restaurant on site too. Perfect for all you need, just turn up with swimming trunks and a towel. Only downside is parking has to be with National trust next door, which is 7 pounds for a day.

My son and I had a private surfing lesson with Joe as our instructor. We were fully debriefed and all kitted up. The whole experience was friendly and professional with excellent clear instructions. We always felt safe and well looked after and we will be sure to come back to Surfing Croyde Bay next time we are looking for more tuition. Excellent - would highly recommend!

Absolutely fantastic afternoon spent coasteering. Would really recommend it to anyone looking to do something a bit different. It was a definite adrenaline rush and so much fun.Myself and my husband took our 15 year old daughter and our niece and nephew and they all absolutely loved it. As well as a brilliant activity, the instructors (Nathan and Joe) were fantastic - they were very knowledgeable and we always felt safe by following their instructions. They were friendly and highly skilled in what they do and we were very impressed with the whole set up there.Good changing facilities, lockers for valuables, hot showers and all the equipment you needed was readily provided and all in all I think it was excellent value for money.If I was staying for two weeks instead of one I would definitely be back to give it another go! Thanks for a great experience - we will be back for sure when we next visit beautiful Croyde.

Absolutely loved our surfing lesson! We’d booked the lesson for our family (there are 10 of us!) and we’re all novices, and I’ve got to say the individual attention each of the 3 instructors gave us was amazing! A really fun session, the waves were stunning, the instructors were so patient and supportive. The hot shower and changing area was most welcome, as was the opportunity for a beer and bite to eat in the cafe after the lesson! Will definitely book again next time we’re down! Thank you guys for such a fab time!

Awesome surfing session for our Scouts, lovely location and beach. Changing rooms and kit were great and made use of the whole 2.5 hour time slot.All the kids had an amazing time, with 3 instructors to 15 Scouts, they had plenty of individual coaching and help.They all said they wanted to go and do it again!

Can not recommend more highly! Superb evening coasteering with 2 kids (12 and 10). Guides Max and Nathan were fantastic- fun, encouraging and very professional. Smiles all round- 5 stars!!!!

Me and 2 more friends this weekend have been to Croyde and wanted to do learn how to surf so we booked a lesson for the Saturday . What an amazing service, very helpful and super friendly staff and they are also amazing coaches.Will definitely go back there 5 star well deserved
