Brilliant service from Justin and his team @ AA Silencers in Cheadle. Took my wife’s car in (without an appointment) for an exhaust bracket issue. Went in to get the tracking done on my 2006 car. Despite having had it done several times by them in the past on this very vehicle apparently they now have a new system that doesn't have data for older vehicles - hey guys, have you heard of this thing called the internet? 30 seconds and I had found the info required. So this is progress!! Surely older vehicles are more likely to need their tracking done than newer cars are? I get the impression that A & A only want to work on newer vehicles that are more in line with their 'posh' image. Went to Wheels and Tyres insted who were very quick, efficient and cheap. Sorry A & A, you have lost a customer as I won't be going back to you with any of my cars now---------------------------------------Response to A & A Silencers reply:Well, what a nice vitriolic reply laced with inaccuracies. I'm glad you don't want to put your name to any work done on my car as I wouldn't wish to have any association with a garage that has such an appallingly rude customer attitude. I am curious to know how often a person has to come to you for work to be considered a customer?Instead you chose to insult my inteligence, insult me, insult my car and then try and blame me for your own shortcomings.Firstly, you need to get your facts straight. I have had the tracking done twice on this car: once after replacing the track rod ends and again after replacing a front strut. The so-called illegal tyre is actually detailed on the invoice for the second tracking work as front tyres worn low" and no mention of one tyre being illegal. After the tracking was done they were immediatly replaced with wheels and nearly new tyres from another identical vehicle I have (check your records

Best independent service centre I've been too in years. I now take my R8 and Porsche to them for all serving and maintenance, as well as the wife's hack :) Extremely knowledgeable and their professionalism is first class. Its great to support a local family business.

I cannot fault this place, I have always used them for tyres, but I have now started getting my car serviced by AA Silencers as well.As usual excellent service, lovely staff great place for my car to go!

Big thanks to the team at AA Silencers and Justin, who dealt with me from the start. Came here with my LR Discovery sport with an exhaust rattle and fitted me in at short notice as I was going away on holiday that day! Managed to repair my exhaust instead of replacing, Price was incredibly reasonable, and the service was impeccable. Highly recommend. Real nice and honest guys.
