Confused and disorganised. Wrong sandwich (meat -not eaten for 38 years so shock), wrong coffees and failure to process refund . 20 mins wasted journey. Bit rubbish for £18.95.

They have nice coffee and a small courtyard garden at the back as well as seats at the window. The chairs in the garden aren’t very comfortable, but fine to sit for a quick coffee.

The coffee and croissants are nice which is why they get 2 stars but the service is so bad. I am a local to seven dials, and Flour Pot has been mine and my partners favourite place for the last few years but the service just gets worse and worse that we now opt for one of the other coffee shops. The bald guy behind the counter is just so rude that you feel like you are inconveniencing him by ordering an overpriced coffee and croissant. It really doesn't cost anything to be nice to your customers...

I’m a relatively infrequent customer - I live in London and occasionally visit friends nearby. But every single time I order from here I have this overwhelming desire to get behind the counter and start managing the staff. There are 4: one’s sitting in the serving space doing some admin, two are making the coffee, and one is serving customers (ie doing all the work, gathering cakes and sandwiches ordered, taking the payments, passing the coffee from the counter across the serving area to the chat etc). It’s so inefficient it looks as if it’s been planned that way. The time before last, despite paying for my coffee I left and got one round the corner in the delightful BROR cafe because I couldn’t bear to wait any longer. Is it a Brighton thing? All I can say is I doubt you could run a business like that in London. It’s a mercy the coffee and sandwiches are pretty good.
