We booked a surprise 60th birthday party here at the arleston hall and I couldn't recommend it enough. The room is beautiful, the DJ and the staff is fantastic. I would highly recommend booking your venues here. It's a 5 star from us. Thank you for your hospitality it's greatly appreciated.

Really nice venue for weddings, funerals, and parties. You can have your own catering service. There is a bar. Caters for a very large number of people. Free parking.

This venue was hired for a Childrens nurses graduation party, reasonable price for the venue hire which we were happy to pay. However the cold buffet that was put out for us was a real disappointment and did not reflect the price we paid which was £616.Poor quality food, sandwiches looked like they had been made days before and were squashed, little dessert options, limp salad which was in excess, small bowl of crisps where all flavours were mixed up, NO allergen information from what I could see. When asked about the quantity of food we were told they were holding some back to ‘put out later’ which was then put out but again was just a few samosas and spring rolls.Leftover food was not offered to the paying guests to take home if we wanted. Pictures attached show a ‘buffet’ for 88 people and one of them is my plate which contains grey egg yolk

Really disappointed with this venue. The only thing reasonable about the whole thing was the venue hire price of £395.However the price for food that we paid was £616 for 88 guests (pics added to show what food was available). There is no way this all cost what we were charged not even half of it. Limited choice of sandwiches, cold pizza, sausage rolls, few crisps, samosas, spring rolls, quiche. More salad that anyone knew what to do with, fruit and a few puddings.Staff were very rude. The Dj was asked multiple times to change the music genre and didn’t. Despite making a complaint about the selection of food to the owner he said there was more kept out back in the fridge and there was so much food left staff took it home (pic also attached of what food was left) if there was so much left staff should of offered for the paying guests to take home but did not. But all that was left was pizza, sausage rolls and quiche mainly. My advice to anyone wanting to book here do your own buffet much cheaper and will be guaranteed to be a lot nicer.
