I live in the US now but still have family in Weston. Jacquelynne and her team at Worle Florists provide me with exceptional service every time I call or email an order. The service, delivery, and white-glove treatment are first class. I have even had them help me include cards with personalized messages as well as go shop for gift cards to include in my order, on my behalf.

If you want a florist that cares about your family and shows compassion in tough times, I would suggest avoiding this shop. My Mum came in and politely asked to buy a small card so she could write a message to her partner to go with his funeral flowers as she felt like she hadn’t written the one she already had perfectly. Instead my Mum got a lecture on how she couldn’t purchase a card because they didn’t buy the funeral flowers from them, how they were an independent business and they needed to make money (bear in mind she was prepared to pay for the card) and in a snotty way, that if they had been instructed to do the flowers they would’ve provided with multiple cards for this very reason. She said that my Mum would need to contact the funeral flower shop and funeral directors to get one posted out to her. Mum explained that the funeral flower shop was in Cheddar and she needed it for tomorrow. To make it worse, the other lady in the shop just watched on whilst my Mum, who at this point, was breaking down as she was going through the hardest time of her life, and said nothing. At no point was any compassion shown and the situation was handled appallingly. We later found out through a friend that these cards were branded and Worle florists weren’t prepared to put their branding on someone else’s flowers which may affect their reputation. If this had been explained to my Mum at the time, she would’ve accepted this and this horrendous ordeal wouldn’t have taken place. Compassion goes a long way, especially when people are grieving, and you’d think that a florist, of all places would understand this.

This shops Motto should be“In life you can be anything but whatever you are - be kind!”Last week I witnessed a wonderful experience at Worle Florist. I was at admiring the fabulous tribute to our fallen heroes and popped my head in the door- Although it was a Sunday and the shop was shut someone was inside working and came to talk to me about the window - a very shy young lady was explaining how her Grandma’s funeral was the next day in Cambridge and she hadn’t really thought about flowers and it was the first funeral she had attended. She was sad and had never done this before - but nonetheless had just hoped “on the off chance” they might be able to help. Indeed the gentle way she was dealt with was a really lovely thing to see. I wasn’t expecting the quality and customer satisfaction to be so impressive for such a small and independent business. Well done LadiesWorle Florists

Jacqueline did an amazing job creating beautiful flower arrangements for my Mum's funeral. Perfect double ended spray of pink lillies, roses and yellow fresias as requested for the coffin. And many other bouquets were ordered for the day, all of which were pretty and colourful, making it a beautiful celebration of Mum's life.

I had two wreaths made by the lovely ladies at this florist, to be collected and taken to North Devon. Both wreaths were stunning, and the ladies took time to to listen to my requests and they were perfect. Thankyou x
