Was sweaty and tired having been stood with my rucksack on for an hour in check in followed by repacking after making it through security. I had heard from a family member that travelex were actually pretty fair and reasonable nowadays unlike days of old. Well no. With an eye on a pint in departures, I had my guard down and wasn't paying attention and suffered the consequences.I needed to take out some AUD emergency cash. Teller played his hand well, could tell I was already stressed so made me wait a few minutes while the system was mysteriously rebooting, then I couldn't take out 250 because they only had 100s, minimum amount to take out that was higher than what I wanted etc. Wanted to hurry things along and stupidly didn't check the exchange rate until after I paid. Ended up paying 1.46 when Tesco and Post Office are currently exchanging at 1.85 and FX market is at 1.92. You expect to get a worse rate at the airport but that's a scam, plain and simple. Lesson learned, it was my own fault for not taking a step back and doing my due diligence but will never do business with Travelex again and will never recommend them to anyone. At least the pint afterwards was alright.

You need order online or phone for us before your flight day.Okay. It’s my fault.Next time my partner been there beforeHave call first for order our currency. Travelfox said we can not sure tomorrow you can get it.Maybe when you came back again you can try.That mean is I go 3 times . But cannot sure I can get my currency.Why are you can sell this projects?Why I need paid this insurance .THIS IS FAKE GARANTTE!Really really bad bad experience for me.
